Sure she had 9 kills but and 1 block but THATS ALL SHE DID... And there was nothing special about her kills, basically just hit seam cross court... Kim and Kristie were athletic beast, this girl isn't even close.. That's because Northridge's passing was horrible. Setting was also horrible. Try and get a clue next time. You can't hit if you're not getting a good set. Kauaiboy, thinks volleyball is all about hitting. If passing is off, you can't run your offense. But then he is from Kauai, so you can't fixed back-in-woods mentality! Hahaha

It's refreshing to see TMO doing better, especially connecting with KK. If the passing was better, I think KK would have ran the table with all the hitters. It appeared that majority of the passes were at or behind the 3 meter line...so unfortunate. But hey, review the tapes and keep making strides and peak at just the right time. You never know.

She put the ball away, awesome but SHE AIN'T anywhere close to a Kim W. or Kristie P. during their freshman years...

Hahaha No volleyball isn't all about hitting IDIOT... You just made my POINT IDIOT, Kim W and for the most part kristie P were BETTER all around players then this unknown from Northridge WHO CAN ONLY HIT... Your back in the woods mentality deserves a false crack right into your face...

Hmmm... moving back to the match. i'd like to echo one poster's plea for coach to keep the same setting lineup on out. looking at the last three matches 4,6,4 blks by Kendra are giving opposing teams left side hitters something to think about. Team hitting over .400 when the passing/ball control wasn't the best (according to Shoji)... should tell us something about the success of this lineup. IMHO of course.

Now climb back under the rock you came from in Kauai!

The team is hitting for a very high percentage when Kendra is setting!

I'm sorry but Porter and Willoughby would be offended to be compared to that Owens girl. They were both all around players and they both hit for high percentages from the get go, Owens does neither.

Agree 100 %... The ONLY thing they have in common is the color of their skin, which unfortunately is the ONLY reason why those 2 bamboozles would compare her with the GREAT Kim and Kristie... I'm done with this conversation, not worth anymore of my time responding to unknowledgeable idiots...

Even though I like Higgins; especially her jump serves. I honestly feel that there's a lot of upside having Kendra as starting setter. She provides a great block, hitters have to respect her. We're already ranked #1 in the country in blocking. Having her presence at the net will definitely enhance our block. She provides offense with her dump kills. Has a higher contact than Higgins, which will help on tight passes at the net or on overpasses. Tai seems to hit for a higher percentage off her sets as well. Maybe Tai prefers the higher set? I mean a lot of us here tend to be more critical on Tai than anyone else, so seeing her hit well is a relief. When we face tougher competition down the road we're going to need her height and athleticism. She provided that boost in the win over then #2 Florida. This is the first time in a long, long, long time that we as a team have a lot of height and weapons! Let's utilize what we have!!!! If you don't use them, you might lose them. If we can pass efficiently, then our setter will have more options at her disposal!!!

Greeley was bringing it too, and hit for very high percentage. That was the best hitting performance by the Wahine in a long time. Can't wait for the match tomorrow against the 49ers.
