With the preseason matches starting around the country, what do you guys think the starting lineups will look like?
More specifically:
Who is going to fill the holes at Loyola and Lewis?
Who is going to be setting at UCLA and USC?
Will all of the LBSU freshmen start?
Who is going to step up for Penn State after Aaron Russell's graduation?

Just based off a photo I saw, DeFalco and Tuaniga were starting. Sato is also back for them.

You know long Beach had two separate teams in the tournament. One had Stallings and the other had Tuaniga so hard to tell.

I'm assuming Will Tischler will be starting for Loyola in place of Jaeschke. Touched 11'6 and was measured at 6'7 at the start of 18's club season. I don't know anyone else capable of filling Jaeschke's shoes other than him. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Vert and touch are one thing, but volleyball skill, leadership, mentality, etc. are another.
That is like saying Ricky Gevus is the next Matt Anderson because he touches over 12 feet.

Lot of open spots at oh and libero at Pepperdine and Matt West is gone at setter. Should be interesting to see how all the teams losing seniors will fill spots

Soren Dion-Kindem got lots of time as the setter for the Junior National Team, so I would not be surprised to see him starting there. The most interesting question is who is going to play opposite with Tarantino having played in club. Will he switch to allow somebody else to play middle along with Penning?

Wexter could play a major role.

Wexter could play a major role. Don't forget about senior Tommy Carmody at middle for Pepperdine! Led the nation in blocking two years ago at Pacific and has a 12'4" touch.

Heard that middle from pacific, Carmody, is playing this spring.

I know Wexter is a great right side but I have heard from multiple people during the club season he wanted to set there. Not sure if this is still true

It was my understanding that Marv recruited him as a setter. He's bigger and more physical that Soren.

He isn't that great, I played against him in club all last year, and I wasn't blown away by him at all. He's not gonna start.
