I think he has Island Fever, a malady often found on Pacific islands (my experience on Guam and Okinawa comes to mind), and should try to get out to the Mainland more often. Symptoms include the megalomania he is exhibiting now. Regards I do get out to the continental states often. In fact, I was just in New York in june. You just need to take off your burnt orange colored glasses.

Hey BIK...I am actually a HI fan and I was the one who postulated that they might lose to Texas. Can I also get tapes? I'd love to send tapes but I haven't taped a match this season.
I don't think so. A Wash is indeed a stretch. I repeat, Texas has only beaten one team in the top 25, Hawai'i has beaten 4 of them. That is hardly equal. And its silly to think SMU, LSU, Baylor, and Kansas are at the same level of Pepperdine, UCI, SWMS, Fresno and Nevada.
Shouldn't you have written "Texas has beaten only one team STILL in the top 25". I took a look at the schedules of those four teams you refer to. Cough, cough, sputter, sputter. I'm trying to figure out why most of those are still in the top 25.;D
By the way, this Tinkerbell thing has to stop. People are going to talk.
Regards

In the last 12 months, I've watched live Washington, USC, Minnesota, Hawai'i, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA, Santa Clara, UCSB, Stanford, Cal, Saint Marys, Utah, Arizona, Michigan, Pacific, San Diego, Georgia Tech, and UC Irvine, among the teams currently garnering points on the AVCA poll. In their own way, there is something unique about each of them. I don't know how far Hawaii will go off their own home turf, but there is something very gracious and endearing about them (in vivid distinction to their very over-opinionated fans on this forum). They seem to play to the opponents level, but then at the critical juncture, turn on the heat and refuse to acknowledge anything other than victory. Call it youthful naivete, but call it success. Let's take it one week at a time.
