A team that has struggled this year, and has never won it before, but has the pieces would be nice. Like Florida! I'm tired of seeing the same teams, Penn State, Stanford, Texas etc, it was nice to see BYU go deep last time. However, I also took pleasure watching Stanford get annihilated, I will at least say that.

I never get tired of watching great teams who play excellent volleyball. Hopefully it's my favorite team who makes it to the Final 4. Their Vegas odds increased as of last night and with a few more positive results ......

I'll go with Wisconsin, beating Washington in the finals. (I probably just like UW-UW.) The Badgerettes seem to be peaking at the right time. The casualties will be the teams that lack ball control like Florida and Texas and SC because of their reliance on Bricio (and mostly because I just don't like SC. Kudos to the Ducks for whopping them in football yesterday!)

I just picked the badgers. In actuality I can't honestly tell which team is better now, having watched them all in the least few weeks, so might as go with the home team.

You could put Bricio on almost any team in the country and she would be their go-to hitter, and they'd rely heavily on her. I don't think that's a vulnerability.

USC has the X factor of Bricio's serve. When it's on she can string together points.
Then again Ford's passing and Pizzesegola's setting also do that for the other team at times.

Bricio is a solid POY candidate, along with Hawaii's Nikki Taylor. She probably stands out more because she's the one SC relies on every game. I've seen her play in at least 4 matches and she hasn't failed to live up to my expections. In comparison, Hawaii has 3 or 4 players who are go-to players in their own right. In the playoffs, if Bricio holds up and SC wins the title, I would vote her the closest to Wonder Woman ever in DI women's volleyball.
I prefer Hawaii's situation, even though I'd still squeeze my buttocks playing against Bricio.

After having just watched the USC/Arizona St. match, I would hope USC doesn't look like that in the NCAA Tournament. If they play like that, they would have no chance of making it to the Final Four. I haven't seen them play much this year but I have to assume that was an "off" match for them.

If Hawaii is leading the poll then this must be highly scientific.

Bricio performed as expected, and the rest of the team didn't. This is why I think Bricio is awesome. If they don't make it to the end, she still shines regardless.
