With USC's loss to UCLA and Minnesota's recent loss, who gets the #1 overall seed this year?

Its still USC, there is no way a 4 loss team is getting the overall 1 seed. USC still has the common opponent win over Stanford.
USC at 1 Texas at 2 Minnesota at 3 is my guess.

It's too bad about Washington's non-conference schedule since they probably deserve the #1 seed as of how the teams are performing as of today.

I would like to see a USC vs Texas matchup assuming Texas could get by Minnesota or Washington. With the regional in Austin, I like their chances.

Will Washington be penalized for Wisconsin's cancellation of their pre-season match? Should Wisconsin be rewarded for it?

I'll just be happy to not be in the same regional as PEE-ESS-YOU, thank you very much.

It's between USC and Washington in my personal opinion.

It's between USC and Washington in my personal opinion. UW is not getting the #1 overall seed.

Will Washington be penalized for Wisconsin's cancellation of their pre-season match? Should Wisconsin be rewarded for it? Better question: Does the committee care one iota about a cancelled match?

Wooden nickel the overall #1 seed doesn't win it all.

Will Washington be penalized for Wisconsin's cancellation of their pre-season match? Should Wisconsin be rewarded for it? Penalized in what way? By giving them a lower seed for a relatively weak pre-season schedule, even though they tried to play a tough team on the road.

Wooden nickel the overall #1 seed doesn't win it all. Even more so than in the past, this year's winner will need more than its share of luck to win it all. There isn't a dominant team in the 2015 field.
