Hawaii vs. Penn State could be a great one. If it happens and Penn State wins, I think they beat Minnesota and make their 8th semis in 9 seasons.

Agree with a post that they are a well coached team. Definitely not a team to be overlooked.

With TCU, I still like our chances. Our Middles are quick big and physical, our block is #1 in the country, our RS is one of the best in the country. It will come down to serve and pass with this first matchup. Our gals will be well rested and hungry for a run. Should be a fun first round match.

Really fun and the committee answered my prayers. Might as well send Hawaii further east if they are not hosting. Also if Creighton didn't put in a bid, they could have given it to Hawaii I'm pretty sure the SSC will accomodate. But you know what, no USC, UW or Stanford in the second round so we can't complain I would think USC, UW, or Stanford wouldn't even want to see this years Hawai'i team in the second round anyways. This year's Hawai'i team is out to spoil. Hawai'i will be ready for sure and well rested. Hawaii's opponent is probably reviewing tapes fr KFVE right now?

All you Hawaii fans should not be discussing A&M.........beware of the Horned Frog! TCU has a great coach and have a great collection of talent that is playing to potential right now. Didn't TCU sweep Texas?

Can we please just focus on TCU for now? I like others are extremely happy that we are out of the west. Not to say I am downplaying these awesome teams coming up but because its something different from the usual Seattle or LA trips for our Bows!
TCU took down the horns and will be up and ready for our Wahine. Hawaii needs to play solid volleyball to win. It will NOT be easy!!!!!!
GO BOWS!

I actually hope Hawaii beats TCU because I want to see A&M vs Hawaii in 2nd round because I think that could be the best second round match of the tournament.
TCU though will be no push over. (I think Hawaii got hosed with a tough first round match up)
Hawaii TCU Hitting % .288 .248 Opp Hitting % .142 .190 Blocks/set 3.30 2.95
I do believe the Big 12 conference is better top to bottom than the Big West and the numbers are very comparable. Also, TCU MBs - McGuire and Gower are #1 and #2 in the Big 12 in blocking.

I like the parings, I don't like the location. Travel to College Station is not ideal and Reed gives the Aggies a genuine homecourt advantage. I will withhold my thoughts on the Aggies as the Bows need to get to the second round first.
