Abby Hansen is a stud. Never thought SC will ever get two dynamic middles in the same season ever again. Crouch is one lucky coach. Hansen’s step Outs are nasty good. she is very agile for being 6’4. USC finally has two middles that can hit the slide. This will just free up Lanier and hopefully Sun. Of crouch runs a 5-1, or uses some different routes, like they do at Oregon. Otherwise there aren’t many slides in a 6-2. Maybe it Botkin sets from the front, one MB could slide in 2 rotations. Otherwise, I think they have to try to maximize the step-outs if Hansen and Gross are so dynamic behind the setter. Gross is better in front of the setter. They'd have her hit 4s and 5s from the pin in HS/club.

Gallegos appears to be off the roster. She was #11.

RPI seems to mean everything in volleyball. USC men's BB - shut out from the NCAA tourney - has a better RPI than UCLA, AL, Syracuse, FL, OK, Texas, FSU, VT, NC State, all in. Either RPI means little in BB or the Trojans just got totally hosed. Shame.

There's never been any snub in volleyball tournament selection that comes close to what just happened to USC MBB.

Wish Alyse Ford all the best. Just saw she’s no longer in the roster. She was absolutely fun to watch her freshman year with Bricio. It’s no laughing matter but I’ll never forget her making an AZ Wildcat DS cry from a “facial” she got from Alyse.
Does anyone know where she’s going?

Well, so much for "trust me right now" and "no one's leaving."

Well, so much for "trust me right now" and "no one's leaving." What's more important is that Meyer-Whalley is back on the roster!! So happy for Reni!! When I saw Gallegos off the roster, I figured Reni was for sure coming back. So far, Crouch has lost 3 (Gries, Gallegos, Ford)

Hurt them when middle tenn got upset in their conference tourney.

Hurt them when middle tenn got upset in their conference tourney. It didnt help with the unbalanced conference schedule that USC didn't get a second chance against Arizona State or Arizona. I just have a beef that Arizona State, a team that was 8th in the conference and didnt even make it to the quarterfinals, losing to #9 Colorado, gets into the tournament. USC, #2 conference runner up doesn't get in. Utah crapped its way out of the tournament so USC lost those 2 significant as well. But still, the High Point decision was worse. Pacific's snub in 2014 was also rough too. Pacific (2nd WCC) beat Loyola Marymount (5th WCC) twice head to head and didn't get in the tournament. I don't agree with that. Especially when late season performance should have even more meaning.
