Totally understand why usc basketball fans are pissed though , guess the ncaa basketball comittee values out of conference wins more than anything else and why Asu got in with their shiny Kansas and Xavier wins.

Well, so much for "trust me right now" and "no one's leaving." What's more important is that Meyer-Whalley is back on the roster!! So happy for Reni!! When I saw Gallegos off the roster, I figured Reni was for sure coming back. So far, Crouch has lost 3 (Gries, Gallegos, Ford) Not sure "lost" is the right word. I've heard one quit, one was disciplined/eventually dismissed, and one is not eligible.

Sun is visiting Lincoln. Don’t count your chickens, Trojan fans. Don't count those chickens yet either because she may be coming home to roost.

Lots of walk-ons who will never play don’t want to stick around. I had totally forgotten about Gries.

Yeah word is that Ford wasn’t very coachable, which should shock no one, and wouldn’t be something that Crouch tolerates.

Someone should start an Alyse Ford-to-Hawaii rumor.

Thrilled to see that Reni is back! So fun to watch, and she's an excellent leader as well.

I agree that she could be a fun player to watch, but come on, a starter for 2 1/2 years on a team the caliber of SC should improve noticeably. She hasn't. Bricio and Lanier could have been wonderful roll models, but she continued to try to slam kills through blocks. While she was occasionally successful with that strategy, some touch would have worked wonders frequently. Her decision to transfer shows two things: 1, she wants to play, and 2, she knows her court time for USC is very limited. I doubt Crouch told her that, but she was able to see others are accomplishing more, and hopefully she noticed they also are team people who inspire the team. She mentioned to someone we know in common that she wanted to "kill it in the B1G" like another transfer from USC to one of those schools did. LOL The BIG has academic standards that would likely prevent that from being a successful venture.

Reni Meyer-Whalley never left how can she be back? She was off the roster and now she is on it.
