Minnesota is going to be just so deep this season. I honestly feel like some of their practices will be better competition then some of their games.

It is amazing to me that in most of the other threads, MN is not even being considered as part of the NC conversation, and I am good with that. I think most people think that the loss of Daly is too much. With three returning AA's and a top 6 recruiting class, I honestly think they will be just as good if not better than last year.

Nebraska, Minnesota, Penn State and Wisconsin are all likely to be better in 2016 than 2015. The B1G season is going to be exciting and scary.

Good chance you could say the same for Ohio State, Michigan, Purdue and Illinois. Michigan State maybe too. Add to that that the lower 1/2 should be improved in quality if not in record (Maryland, Iowa and Northwestern specifically), and you have to think the B1G is going to be brutal.
Poor Rutgers and Indiana. How can they gain any traction at all?

Watched KC Invasion this morning online and Alexis Hart should fit right into the MN offense. Appears like she loves fast sets to the outside and hits the ball hard. Will be fun watching her develop.

I can say losing Daly is not a huge loss. Minnesota is going to be fine. The setter tho..

I can say losing Daly is not a huge loss. Minnesota is going to be fine. The setter tho.. That's ridiculous. Daly, the should-have-been-national-player-of-the-year, is an enormous loss but teams lose great players every year and new/returning players step up. I'm confident that will happen with the Gophers.

She's an absolutely phenomenal athlete, I think she's going to be a really special player as she develops in college

Also if anybody wants to watch, there is a potential matchup between MN Select (McGraw, Martin) and Invasion (Hart) tonight at seven which I believe will be streamed (court 6)

Gophers beat NDSU 4-1, with NDSU taking the final. However, the Gopher "B" team played the last two sets. Wilhite and Rosado looked extremely impressive. Rosado passed very well and got to everything. Played all five sets. Wilhite was a terminator.

Kinda glad we gave our starters a rest the last 2 sets, sets 1-3 looked brutal

I also was impressed by Beal, who looked fitter and was hitting with real power.
