Weird to think that this MN Select team could essentially be playing in the 17 Open division

Just weird to see this so early. I know it's just bragging rights at this point but Arizona Storm will take it. I wonder how many of these teams show up to AAU in june.

Top Select 17 Blake is going to AAU, I think. It is interesting that they are competing in the 18s division at the GJNC.

18's nationals this weekend in Milwaukee. Last year AVA of Texas won in Indiana New Orleans, this year they are not in the tournament. Arizona Storm finished second, TAV Black and Invasion Black finished third, KC Power, Vision Gold and Rockwood Thunder also played in the gold bracket. Qualified this year for 18 Open are: Arizona Storm VBC 18 Thunder MN Select 18-1 COAST 18-1 Ozhan TAV 18 Black Invasion 18-Black Metro VBC 18 Travel Mizuno Long Beach 18 Rockstar KC POWER 18-1 Milw Sting 18 Gold Sky High 18 Black Rancho Valley 18 Premier Vision Volleyball 18 Gold Laguna Beach 18-1 NKYVC 18-1 Tsunami Rockwood Thunder 18 Mizuno Excel NW 18-1 Team Rox Circle City 18 Purple LoneStar 18 EP Hou Skyline 18 Royal Roshambo EXCEL 18 National Red SA MAGIC 18 ELITE Aspire 18 Rox NCVC Asics 18-1 Upward Stars 18 Corey Absolute Black 18-1 Club V 18 Black EP Top Select 18 Elite Red Rock 18-1 AZ Revolution 18 Premier Tribe 18 Elite Dean Tstreet 18 Shawn Webfoot Team Detroit 18 Ranger Sunshine 18 Westside A5 Mizuno 18 Bob Top Select 17 Elite Blake
Of the 16 teams that qualified and played last year (17's), A5 Mizuno and Excel 18 National are significantly changed with both teams only coming back with 5 players from last years team. Coast added Lexi Sun and Vision has added Ronika Stone to largely unchanged rosters, most other teams return 9 or more players from the same team last year. New teams that will cause some problems are Minnesota Select 18-1, Metro VBC 18, Mizuno Long Beach 18 Rockstar and Milwaukee Sting 18 Gold. Sky High could cause some problems as well but 3 of their losses this year have come against qualified teams; they however are one of only 2 teams to beat SPVB 18E this year with Mn Select being the other. Are all of these teams even showing up.

Look out for Coast. I haven't seen them play yet this year, but they are loaded. Ozhan always gets the best out of his teams by JO's.

Sting, Aspire, SA Magic and Top Select 17 will all out perform their seeding Not sure about Aspire over performing, but the others I'll get on board with. If anything top select 17's are surely better than their higher seeded 18's team.

I believe they are also playing in 17 Open in Indianapolis this summer as well Are they going to usav? Doesn't show up on their schedule. Maybe they just don't feel like posting on their website when their teams are competing in the best quality tournament in prep volleyball. I mean, this isn't some lame weekend event, it's the junior national championship!

Or maybe, they post those schedules at the beginning of the season when they haven't qualified yet, and someone forgot to update?
