Smoot is a stud. I'll put money down right now that she'll end up having a better collegiate impact than at least half of the players seemingly ranked ahead of her. Agree. She has made the most of her opportunities. Dramatic transformation from earlier years. From physical perspective. Other girls have caught up or surpassed her height advantage from when she was younger. But, she has gotten stronger and leaner. Beach helped her significantly. Her only unknown will be dealing with new coaches and teammates fighting for her position. Only two club coaches since 12s and her club coach is her high school coach. But, she should master it. She has mastered beach and not many thought that would happen. Will she play both indoor and beach at Arizona? Not sure how separate AZ's beach program is.

Let me chime in about the Just Missed kids highlighted: In May, when I submitted my first 100 to the college coaches, the list they use as a starting point, Wazzu kid was 39; Indiana kid was 54. I obviously liked them better... As for why they dropped, that's something I cannot and won't share. Let's just say the college coaches on my panel felt that there were 100 or more players who better fit the criteria we were going for. For the record, a total of 16 players in my first look 100 did not survive five rounds of college coach scrutiny I am only on page one of this thread, but I mean really, it's ONE HUNDRED athletes from across the entire nation!! 100! And 25 more got ink because it stopped at 100. It's a really big deal to make the list, whether it's A or B list. Either is a big nod and the girls deserve the recognition it's meant to bring. My friend's daughter is #82 and he's proudly posting it (full write up) on every social media outlet he can find. You'd think she was #1, and that's how this should be viewed. Thank you JT for taking the time to put this together.

Wow! All 5 Badger recruits will be in the top 50. I was hoping Hart would crack the top 50, and it looks like that will come to fruition.

56 is a really good get for Northwestern. I expect her to start right away.
If the Iowa program is going to turn around, it'll be with the help of 54 & 52. Look forward to seeing what they can do.

Rainbow did not weigh in on whether the rank was appropriate. So, if Rainbow thinks the player should start right away, and you think she should be ranked higher, I think you are kind of in agreement. Surprise!

Hart top 20? I would love to see that. Why? Where she is ranked will have absolutely no impact about what she actually does at Wisconsin. All a high ranking really does is provide fodder when recruits don't live up to expectations.
