Wow, Texas fans are the most gracious losers on VT. Very excited for the future of both teams. When did Wisconsin legalize marijuana?

Outstanding player. At this point in the year, she's a 1st team AA in my book. Oh god no. Her passing is a liability. She blocks well and is a smart player, but not 1st team. Haggerty is the better passer and six rotation. The match. WOW! I was the WI fan with the US/WI flag. Saw it at the beginning of the match and we'll see where else. WI's service errors were bad. Carlini in particular. Out of a time out. TX did what they did. I feel like Chloe is still not doing the job. She chokes in tough matches. She was putting the ball WAY too far inside and tight toward the end of the match that allowed WI to go on runs. Bates did really well today. Texas refs seemed to serve up some home cooking today, but I'm looking forward to watching the match to see if that was the case. We still need Gillis. Bigger block and more out of the back row. Tionna played SO well. Blocks, terminations. Great play!! I felt like Dodd missed a few easy digs. I'm rambling right now, but WOW. So many thoughts.... She's putting up AA numbers! 4.25 kps hitting over .300 Over .5 bps and over 1 dps after only recently playing 6 rotations

Mikaya White is something else, boy. You Texans have a player and a half right there. What a good match, guys. Thank you. Hope to see you again in December in Columbus. Almost single handedly won the last set. Just needed a little help from someone else. Yessir. Spot on. When she's serving match point at 14-11 Elliott should have told White just get it in, we've got your back.

I look forward to hearing from vbprisoner and sportybucky. Vbprisoner is one of my favorite Texas fans. they are probably drinking at a bar now? They may have never left the bar after watching the Cal game last night.

White is really fun to watch, but her service errors were momentum killing. Freshman mistake likely, but so surprising when she performed pretty well in other facets of her game!

You don't have to be a standout passer/defender to be an All-American. White is averaging 4.24 kills and hitting over .300 for a top 5 team in the country. She just had 23 kills and hit over .300 against Wisconsin who is one of the best defensive teams in the country. Can't ask much more out of her. 1st Team in my book and a leading candidate for NFOY along with Fitz. She carried Texas today and has been rock solid so far besides the Nebraska game which was her 2nd match of her career.

Fitz simply won't get enough touches to be FOY, not with the number of OH's on tourney quality teams taking a bunch of swings. Depending on where USC finishes, she'd be lucky to get FOY over Lanier just in conference, let alone NFOY. And white (though I disagree with RS freshmen being eligible for the award in the first place) will be able to rack up a decent hitting percentage and kill percentage in the weaker big 12 than Fitz will in the Pac, same goes for Scoles in the ACC.

I figured you could still get conference FOY but didn't know if that was allowed nationally.

I like Johnson's energy, but she's no Ogbogu or McCage. Their loss really hurts. I thought Texas didn't rebuild, they just reloaded. Sentiment on this board from TU fans was Ebony's loss was not that big of a deal. Maybe Jerot should look at recruiting at least one player who can pass the ball. Bless your heart.

Nothing against White, I just think RS freshmen are no different than sophomores who never played their freshmen year.

I picked Badgers in 5 here in this poll, too bad I did not do the same for my PTW.......
No question who the B10 players of the week and freshman of the week is (for the second time in 4 weeks). By my faulty memory, Haggerty averaged 6 kps while hitting .428 for the two matches in Texas. Come to think of it, she did pretty well against TAV in Kansas City in the championship match at JVA world challenge, maybe Wis just needs to play a few more games against Texas teams to keep her going. By God I cannot begin to express how glad I am that she pulled her commit and came to Wisconsin.
Now to figure out the right side and what is going to happen there for the season.
