^ She'll still crack the top 10. The news in Hi. can be so invasive; the media makes things quite difficult IMHO.

Carly Kan feature. She's still "adapting" to beach. Maybe next year she'll make an impact? KHON YouTube videoCool! Thanks for posting this! She looks good out there! I think she is adjusting (and being modest), but she has a couple months and I still think she has the athleticism to make an impact this season (of course that is for the coach to decide not me. haha!).

So apparently the AVCA beach ranking was out last year on Feb. 15 last year. Where will the Sandbows be ranked? I am going to say No. 4 (not saying that is where I think they should be just where I think they will be).

Looking forward to seeing them play in a couple weeks at Queen's.

Going to miss Speiler this year. Just saying. Not as much as Jeff Hall is going to miss her.

Would have like to see Maglio with Tucker or Homayun. I have heard she is playing well and to go to the 3 spot this year? From what I have heard Weaver it is a bit of surprise that she is even in the top flights. Maybe she has improved since Fall? Or does Jeff Hall just feel he needs to play her as a transfer? Surprised Smith isn't in the top flights? None of the indoor players cracking the line up either (other than Mags and Taylor). Kan looked good but surprised she is a hitter. I would have liked to see her with someone taller (and both could attack when given the opportunity). Anyone seen these teams in action? What did you think?

Kan is an four time Div I AA hitter, so it's not surprising.

Kan is an four time Div I AA hitter, so it's not surprising. I knew she could hit, that part is not surprising. I had hoped she would be more defensive and teamed with a big. That way they would have lots of offensive options as a pairing.
