Aj Dougherty from Storm has committed to LBSU. Big news, he's probably the best middle in the class.

Daniel Matheny, JT Martin, Brandon Hicks, Ethan Talley are just a couple in my opinion that are better right now, there's definitely a couple I'm missing too. Not saying that AJ doesn't have the tools to eventually be better than them, just saying right now

Not saying that AJ doesn't have the tools to eventually be better than them, just saying right now I agree with this. AJ can hit, but he is super raw and does not have a great volleyball IQ. He is going to need to spend a lot of time on read blocking if he wants to see the court in the Big West.

I have no idea. Somewhere in the San Diego area, I dont think he's from Mexico like most of the team is. He is from Riverside. People like his upside, he has not been playing volleyball long and has never really gotten any coaching on how to play middle. He gets pointers from the other Storm players, but they don't really practice that much together since they are such a conglomeration of players. Here is a link of him just over a year ago playing for a club called Cross Point out of Murrieta at a little local tournament at Seaside. Storm used to play at those tournaments also, that is where they recruited him.

If you're LBSU, this video should make you off the charts excited... to see how much he has improved since this video came out is incredible especially if what you're saying about his lack of coaching is true
