I just realized that Nikki Taylor's injury will prevent her from playing beach volleyball this coming spring. There goes the #1 flight! LOL!

Damn. Bet she was crying. Very sad. Didn't see the match but what was the reaction from the crowd? A standing ovation as she went off, according to the Hawaii announcers. ..and another standing O when she returned, on crutches.

Are you joking, Hugh does not even close to Dave Shoji, in coaching ability. I'm not sure about that. The head to head match up is 2-0 in favor of Hugh... Two years in a row, a Minnesota player has hurt a Wahine in a match. Last year it was Kalei Greeley, this year Nikki Taylor. Guessing that how you rate how good a Head Coach is. By the way, what Head Coach has over 2000 wins. Hugh does not even smell 1000 wins yet.

People will probably disagree but if Dave does retire wouldn't Berg be a good fit? I mean 3 things going for her. 1. From Hawaii 2. Played for Minny. Would probably have good recruitment connections? 3. 2 Time U.S. Olympic setter with international recognition. Would this be bad choice? berg is only there this season Wasn't asking you troll.

How old is Pestolesi? He only has one more year on his contract with the JC school. Thinking Shoji might stay one more year, then turn the reins over to Pestolesi. He will already have an assistant, his wife Diane Sebastian, a former Wahine great.

Hawaii has its share of very rude posters, but I have confidence that they back off when the unfortunate occurs, such as in Nikki Taylor's case. Most of the people at the match got exceptionally quiet quite when Nikki went down. It was gratifying to see that. I want to add that they gave her a rousing applause when left and again when she returned to court with crutches. What a class act!

But I do not believe it will be Berg. Her heart is not into making coaching her life long ambition. But how about Tom Pestolesi. I know he has one more year on his contract with the JC school. I can see Dave coaching one more year, then turning the reins over to Tom Pestolesi. He loves Hawaii, knows the program, has the experience level. I do not believe the Wahine Team will miss a beat with Tom Pestolesi as their Head Coach.

Some of the Hawaii fans have a meltdown followed by the inevitable hissy fit followed by name calling when they lose? Classy. Real classy.
Must be the wawawaaaahines.

Also, with his wife, Diane, being an assistant coach, what better tandem could Hawaii, and the Wahine ask for.

I believe he is just here as a volunteer coach. Plus no offense but I think the Wahine need some young blood.

They should require registration of all trolls from each fan base and issue advisory every time they come online, the same way they keep track of child predators and issue advisory to the communities they relocate to.
