Again, you are setting up a strawman argument. How do you define "whatever he wants"? You think USAV will tolerate Karch if he abused his position? EXACTLY. I don`t think it is only Karch that wants DH out, the whole USAV organization must support his decision. (And again I`m not saying that I want her out or that she should stay out. But Karch and USAV knows what happened and we don`t know.) It is an assumption that "the whole USAV organization must support his decision." Like most things in life, people support something until they don't.

So bring Hooker back and get a new coach and start everything from scratch? Or Just keep everything as it is? I just prefer the second option Of course you do.

I blame Beal if he did not get in between KK and Hooker. The conflict should have been resolved peacefully.
Hey, Bernardinho is available. it would be fun to watch going nuts on sideline.

Have you heard about "The Art of the Deal" by Trump? You can always find a common ground.

So - Are there any 'Top' 6-rotation outsides, or even opposites, that are coming out of college in the next couple years? The only one I know of is Mikaela Foecke (NE, Jr). Any Others? No collegiate OH will be ready for Tokyo, mostly serve receive skills holding them back. I'd like to see Sun and Samedy training at OPP with Team USA. I prefer to see some young blood at position since their younger bodies could hold up better in taking a million swings. Karch seems a bit conservative in involving collegiate players on the senior NT. Or perhaps college coaches aren't permitting their players to train with the NT. Regardless, I wish the women were investing more in sooner integrating younger players - like The US men are doing. Could injury to Nwanebu, Ajaneku (twice now) while training with the NT be slowing the collegiate players' entry to the USA gym? Weren't Hodson and Sun training with the NT as high schoolers? Could Hodson's medical retirement have cast a negative light on early participation?

I'm asking you why you aren't critical of him for refusing to reconsider (or for creating a my way or the highway situation) particularly given that you said you think she should be in a USA jersey. I'm suggesting what your argument appears to be--"because he can." It's not about being uncritical. It's about being realistic and dealing with what we've got. Karch has made his choice. He is not going to reverse his decision no matter what you say about him. USAV backs him. What more is there to be said about the H situation? Very unproductive to go back again and again to the point about H being on the team. Should she be on the team? Yes. Will she? Not as long as Karch is around being the coach. What else is there to be said?

Hooker was the most amazing athlete I have ever seen. But she's 30, had 2 kids and her body changed (look at her Twitter). We won't get the old Hooker back anyway so let's move on.
