The last thing I want as the new admin is for the ACLU on my case. Let's refrain from attacking the LDS or any other religion in this forum.
This is just a friendly warning.

I NEVER said there was anything wrong with motherhood and being a wife.
And I'm still sticking with my post that BYU will NEVER win a national championship.

thedaddy was asking about Puikkonen sisters and had comment about their dad. You do not need to be Sherlock Holmes to see from his writing that he has not set his foot to the Smith Fieldhouse. 1st clue : Nina played every game of her senior year. She was not 100% during the whole season because of the leg operation in June 2001. 2nd clue : I don't know who thedaddy think Puikkonen sisters Dad was. He could not hoop it up too bad because he was runing home camcorder in the north end of the smith fieldhouse in every home game. He sure enjoyed the games and had his share of fun in the process. Karina was a red shirt player and got her degree at the end of the her junior year and desided to join the working folks. Nina got married on Aug 20 2004. (I was at the reception.) Nina is still the 1st assistant coach of UVSC. (Married name is Mortensen)

Pukapants, you better check what you write/post the next time. Be like a carpenter.....measure three times and cut once.

Why Estella? You pretty much confirmed in your post that what I said is true. Without getting into the specificities of our LDS religion and opening a bigger can of worms, I will just say this....the role of LDS women is clearly defined every General Conference......finding a husband and popping out children. You know this is TRUE. So stop wasting time in the forums get busy. ;D Just to keep this discussion going and not getting deleted, let's throw in some volleyball... Did you see BYU lose to Oklahoma over the weekend? See what I mean? The girls are too busy thinking about homemaking, canning peaches and which breast pump machine works best.

Pukapants, first it is not Estella.....it is ESTRELLA? Don't know were you get with what I posted as confirmiming that what you said is true, but you have that right. Now you make me laugh....if that is the role of the women in the church "having children"....is it the role of men to not find a wife? Does that mean that men also are being indoctrinated to the wrong thing??? Not going to get into the rest of it because if you are really a member YOU are not doing any favors to the mission. Yes....I will get busy. I have not seen them play this year, however, please tell me how many programs of the 200 plus schools in the country have been ranked in the top 20 at the end of the season since 1982 (not during 89) to 2001? I know there are some that have but rest assured not many when you look at percentages. Does that mean that those girls are also just busy thinking about homemaking, canning peaches and which breast pump machine works best? Absolutly not!!!! That is why I will tell you again....measure three times before you cut once. ESTRELLA
