I'm hoping some psychoanalyst can interpret my dreams for me.
Last night, I had a dream where a Halloween-type costume party (organized by my younger sister) was being held at someone's house and all of my former high school classmates were invited. (It's been over 30 years since I graduated from high school.) I couldn't decide if I wanted to go. What was inexplicable was why my sister was planning this party in the first place and inviting only people from my high school graduating class. I mostly didn't want to go because I knew my former classmates' bodies have all gone to sh*t while I was still in magnificent shape (as if time stood still for me). The dream ended with me giving a speech to my former classmates on my fondest memories of high school.

Volleytalk has really had a detrimental effect on you.
It is a shame that CaptainVEX, ladeada and goGopherBill no longer post here, I would find their views on your dreams fascinating.

Just another example of why Wolfgang is my favorite poster.

Just another example of why Wolfgang is my favorite poster. Don't lie. I offer no contribution to the board. VT is a self-indulgence.

When I have dreams involving former classmates, I wake up feeling guilty and I don't know why. I haven't done anything to them that would explain the guilt. No backstabbing, no betrayal of any kind. Nevertheless, the feeling is there.

...I mostly didn't want to go because I knew my former classmates' bodies have all gone to sh*t while I was still in magnificent shape (as if time stood still for me)... While that's a good thing for you, if the trend continues, in 20 years even "those" classmates' kids might not want to be around you -- and I am not 100% joking! Some of my friends look many years younger while a few other friends in the same age group look years older. Harsh reality when the 2 groups are in the same room .

Gender does not seem to be a factor for youthful looking in my limited sample, but genes and health seem to be.

I had a dream last night that one of my players missed a meeting and I cut her. Not sure what to make of that.

Last night, I had a dream that I was back in college and was taking five classes. Finals were a week away and I had no frikkin' clue about the subject matter on any of my classes. I'm not sure if I went to classes or not during the semester but the prospect of trying to learn everything in 5 classes in a week was scaring the crap out of me. I just couldn't understand how I let this happen to me. I've had variations of this dream in the past.

I always have dreams about an upcoming exam, then I'd tell myself its a dream and not take it.
