I heard that the AVP has not profited a single year under Donald Sun so far. He has been keeping them in the black with his own money. Even with sell out tickets, the event is still too costly. If FIVB goes under, I think we will have a major loss in the sport... Has the AVP ever made money under anyone's leadership?

Ok, let's say FIVB goes down. the AVP gets the Brazilian players, what comes with that?? TV deal in Brazil, Brazilian sponsors, etc. Same with Europe and other areas. Red Bull money from FIVB could go other places. And what makes you think the brazilians would come play the AVP? Don`t they have their or "Tour" "Circuit" in Brazil?? Because they would essentially have no other option if they wanted to make money. Its my understanding their tour is a different time of year. I doubt all the foreign players bring that much in the way of TV and sponsorships though
