Haak, superstar in the making. She`s very impressive, not only she can spike but also she has a great serve and she can defend. She reminds me of Boskovic.

A little sloppy all over at the end of that set. Hancock got pulled at the end of set 3, but the new setter for Monza didn't do much better, and made at least one really bad mistake.

Not sure if it was a pull so much as it was a, were going to lose this set so lets throw the back up a bone, type thing.

Monza only won the first set because Haak was receiving and they scored a few aces on her, otherwise they would have been a 3-0.

25-14. Scandicci on a 6-7 point serving run by Carlini. But really Adenizia just closed the door at the end of that set. 3-4 big blocks.
I didn't see the first set, but the last three resembled every Scandicci set I have seen so far. They look good all around.

She still must improve her sets for the middle, Adenizia with only 5 kills and Arriguetti 3. Last season Adenizia would score over 20 points in a some games, and a lot coming from spikes, she was among best scores of the season as a MB. Adenizia can do much more than this, but she can only do if Carlini uses her instead of setting everything for Haak all the time.

Considering how new the team is, Scandicci just looks really, really smooth and put together..... particularly in transition and block.. It will be interesting to see if Bianchini can continue to get kills as an undersized, left-handed OH, and if they plateau as other teams get organized. They made some very smart transfers though.. the team has a lot of flexibility with its pins and it has 2 strong blocking middles.

Why doesn't Carlini love herself... she picks a team that is literally 2013 Wisconsin She's got a DS playing outside again (L. Bosetti) No elite pin hitters again A couple of good middles, but not game-changers, again Old DLC and Chapman might as well be twins, gamewise What?? Adenizia was named best blocker last season. She`s one of the very best and she`s a game changer. Last season she scored almost 100 blocks while 2nd place Melandri got 60. Adenizia was averaging 20 points per game last season.I don't even need to see the numbers to know this isn't true. I know you're a Brazilian and a Brazil fan, but come on. But, it's my opinion that players like Akinradewo, Adams, Yuan Xinyue, Thaisa, Fabiana, Rasic, etc. seem to be the top tier of middles in the world, aren't they? Is Adenizia really a part of that group?

Adenizia was tops in blocks, dunno about 20 pts a match, but yeah she produced the best blocking numbers last year and she's likely to be starting for Brazil now.

'ghetti has't been good in years. She had so much promise but then and injury, I believe, set her way way back.
