Wow Ryan and billy played well. They lost to a good team. I like that Ryan took the blame for the loss too. Very surprised how well Billy played (or must have to get that far)

This could be Kantor and Losiak’s week to win a gold medal.
Netherlands is guaranteed a bronze medal as both Dutch teams are playing the bronze medal match.

This could be Kantor and Losiak’s week to win a gold medal. Netherlands is guaranteed a bronze medal as both Dutch teams are playing the bronze medal match. Looks like another silver medal for the Polish duo. 14-21 and now 8-15 in the second set. They had a 10-6 lead before in the first set before. Gonna be a gold medal for Plavins and Tocs of Latvia! And bronze goes to Brouwer/Meeuwsen.

Really impressed by Tocs blocking and Plavins is a good player that has been grinding for a while. So congrats to them.

Plavins/Tocs are now training in the same Latvia group with Samoilovs/Smedins. Coached by Genady Samoilovs who also coaches 17th place Tina Graudina (USC freshman) and Anastasia Kravcenoka.

I only saw a bit of the bronze medal match and I have to say the ball control of both dutch teams was terrible.
