In some years when Hawaii had an impeccable season resume, won the conference, and was hoping for a high seed, they get sent to places like Eugene, OR to play the likes of Baylor. This year, their resume is unspectacular, end up 2nd in conference, and still play the likes of Baylor in the 1st round.

Bet if Robyn got them down to the track right now, they’d all blitz it with time to spare. Have a feeling that, after the season these women have had so far, they know how to make adrenaline work for them. Go Bows!! I believe they went to practice right after. I saw one of them post a wall with the Hawaii logo in IG. Must be at SSC. I’m not so sure. The arena is being used for the Wahine basketball tournament. Most of the gyms are closed for the Thanksgiving weekend. Sunday is supposed to be a day off so I don’t know about practice right after a so-called “party”. Not a smart thing to do. Players oculd get hurt. Sitting around all day then all of a sudden practice??? Maybe watch film or meeting with coaches but I doubt any practice took place.

Tita in the foreground had the best reaction. Was not even paying attention, heard Hawaii’s name and then kind of went nuts. I wonder if Trinity knew what had happened. She had zero reaction.

Who's the woman in the black top, gray sweatpants, and the black hat bouncing up and down? I think that's Ma'afala? Why is the TV so small? You’d think they could find a bigger one to watch it on?

And it's still a better draw than Nikki and Annie's senior season when they got paired against a young and talented USC team in Minnesota's sub-regional!

To the NCAA Selection Committee, when the Wahine do serve to be a seeded team, can you please give them a sub-regional that PSU has every year. By the way, Thank you for selecting the Wahine to be in the NCAA Tournament.

Here is some advice for playing Baylor: don't let Pressley go nuts against you. Don't ask me how I know that! Still, I am very happy that the NCAA streak rolls on. On the good side, the teams the Wahine would probably play in the pod tend to be good or not, so they do have the chance to do some damage.

Good experience for the returning players next season.

Congrats to this Wahine team. I'm not going to lie- I flat out gave up on them. Not because they sucked but it seemed like they were making the same mistakes over and over again and not growing as a team. But they continued to work hard and fight through adversity this season. They earned this invite and I am really happy for them. I might have given up on them earlier but I never stopped rooting for them, and hoping that they would get their act together (and an invite to the NCAA's in the process). I am glad I have another opportunity to cheer them on.
Go Bows!

I am somewhat glad for UH wahines. I hope they do some damages like upsets of teams that are more favorable to win. I just hope they get through to the second and third round, that would be a great accomplishment for the UH wahines.
