On the women's/girl's vb side of VT: "racist," "Trump," "Obama," "liberal" (unless it's someone explaining why liberals wear different colored jerseys). I so would like to see political commentary stay within the rancid name-calling precincts of the political forum.

I am an avid user and protector of using bro in place of libero. Especially when talking. Flows much better. Plus, I feel like it represents the mindset and demeanor of a lot of liberos. I’m probably in the minority, but that’s ok. Off topic, but I still want to know whether it's LEE-bi-ro (as Karch Coach Kiraly says it) or li-BEAR-oh. The proper pronunciation of Libero is addressed at the 1:40 mark of this video (step 10).

Re. pronunciation
If I hadn't heard the word "libero" spoken, I think I would pronounce it "LEE-burr-oh," with the typical Western-style accent on the first syllable.
You have to hear it spoken to get proper pronunciations. For example, depending on whether you're talking about the author Kate Chopin or the composer Frederic Chopin, the pronunciation of the last name "Chopin" is different. Just a decade ago, I encountered the island Caracao in a travel magazine. Since then, I've been pronouncing it "CAR-ah-CAH-oh" because I had never heard it spoken. Finally, by accident, I found a youtube video about the Caribbean and someone kept mentioning some place called "KOOR-ah-SOW" and I wondered what the hell they were talking about. I eventually put 2 and 2 together and realized it was that very island Caracao that I had been mispronouncing for many years.

This is more in the realm of "mispronounced words by sportscasters" than "stuff typed on VT":
"Verse" when it should be "Versus". As in, "Tonight's match is USC verse UCLA".
