That is a great stance and all but does not mean a thing when the NVL does not exist and Sun has had no issues with the other big one off popular weekend tourneys.
Even in 2016, which was Skyler DelSol's best year on tour, he made 18k.....
Lets say that Bill took his 10.7k and say he split 8k for every NVL event that year which had 6 events (http://thenvl.com/2016/02/pro-tour-schedule/) he would have totaled 34.7k for the season......remember Skyler was top money earner and only got 18k that season just on NVL Tour........ and that is hoping none of the NVL/AVP days overlapped, or interfered with him trying to do anything internationally involved and/or have conflicts with whatever else he would need to do for a part time job.
He is not the likes of Walsh making a stand against the AVP and I seriously doubt her beef was weighted on the exclusivity of the contract, so honestly if Sun didn't give a crap about her protesting what makes anyone think he cares what Bill thinks when there are more kids coming out of college that will be the next Bill? His stance is doing nothing for the existing or new up and coming players IMO and only hurting himself.
He would still need a part time job making 34.7k before taxes, while having no company provided health insurance, 401k plan that will be matched, or any added bonuses or benefits that you may otherwise get from a real full time job unless he is lucky. He may have stated what he thinks back in May of 2017 but even now that landscape is different and I do not see it changing any time soon where he could split 8k over 6 events consistently. I know he has the tutoring business and all but honestly it just does not make much sense at all for him not to sign the contract and compete against the best where he will probably make more than the 10.7k he did in 2016 all while possibly preparing for a 2020 run if he feels that is in his future.

Here you go Travis...Maybe you can get Kerri on your Podcast and ask her what her real beef is with the AVP....Other than probably feeling used for several years, not getting paid the money promised and having to sign a very lopsided contract that ties the athlete tot the AVP 24/7...365 a year?....Shouldn’t be to hard to get these answers from her....
She is the one that would make a difference, If April and maybe a few others took just as strong of a stance we may have seen a different outcome. Without more support, sponsors, and perhaps some of the money she is fighting for, the secondary league will just not have enough traction or attention for better players to help grow it at a pace the select few who currently oppose the AVP need it to move at.
The exclusivity of the contract is not a big deal any more at all considering Sun's past actions in allowing them to play Seaside, Pottstown, Waupca, etc. especially with no dependable and consistent secondary option.
