What did he learn over the summer? Kudos to Him but what earth shattering stuff did he learn? MIT wins over Vassar 3 - 0. Not sure whether it's MIT's serving or Vassar's serve receives but Vassar was really struggling. MIT switched over to a very reputable coaching program. It is clear that they are implementing things that the coach learned this summer and it's showing success. Starting to see more programs make the switch!

Take it easy. Nobody is beating Springfield. The pride will survive. I believe Endicott should be higher in the rankings at around 6-8. They run the 6-2 very effectively, they took Stevenson to 5 after beating them in the first 2 sets. They had a poor performance against Stevens but the win vs. Kean on the road should be more meaningful. This is definitely a team to beat Springfield later in the season if they are firing on all cylinders.

My stab at predictions: 1. Springfield 2. Stevens 3. Kean 4. Dominican 5. Benedictine 6. New Paltz 7. Carthage 8. Southern Virginia 9. North Central 10. Stevenson 11. Lancaster Bible 12. Endicott 13. Juniata 14. Arcadia 15. Elms My take... 1. Springfield - do we need to explain 2. Kean - two losses early to No Central who is ranked and regarded, Endicott who is getting more praise than ever, wins since vs Stevens, Juniata, New Paltz 3. Stevens - only loss to Kean 4. Dominican - taking care of business in midwest but other than No Central they have not done much 5. Benedictine - 10-1, beat carthage and no central, dominican match coming up will separate these two 6. Carthage - loss only to benedictine 7. New Paltz - losses to Kean and (clearing my throat) Hunter 8. North Central - 10-6 overall shows they can hang but not consistent, and they have losses recently 9. Stevenson - 12-3 but losing to Arcadia drops them, it is only one loss but it is not a great loss and its very recent 10. Southern Virginia - 9-1 overall but lost to Stevenson and have not beaten anyone other than Juniata who is quality 11. Lancaster Bible - 10-3 with losses to lakeland without miller, it almost cant count esp as first match, loss to carthage, loss to stevens this past weekend, no big wins 12. Endicott - hang thei hat with win vs Kean, lost to stevenson and stevens but only played 8 matches, no other quality wins 13. Juniata - lost to Kean & So Virginia, both "good losses' but no real quality wins 14. Arcadia - yes they beat stevenson (its one match) but also lost to wentworth so a wash, beat vassar, lost to lanc bible so a wash, this seems about right for them 15. Honestly I can not find a team worthy of being ranked after the above 14, Elms, all losses to good team but zero good wins, Vassar is 6-4, no good wins, no bad losses, it goes on and on like this Read more: volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/73467/d3-2019?page=26#ixzz5ftQOzCw1

Weekly rankings time: Another tough week
1. Springfield: Despite not collecting many big/signature wins they will stay on top until someone beats them 2. Stevens: Stay in this spot over Dominican due to their amount of quality wins and willingness to test themselves 3. Dominican: In the spot with no DIII losses; Thursday showdown with Ben U to take over top dog in Midwest 4. Ben U: Have more quality wins but do have a DIII loss; Thursday looms large 5. Kean: Two early season losses have been negated by two of the biggest wins over Stevens and NP 6. Stevenson: Offense looked rough against Arcadia; More quality wins than those who will be ranked below 7. New Paltz: Give the nod over Carthage based on win against North Central and willingness to test themselves 8. Carthage: Only one match this week, but a big one against NCC; much needed to stay in conversation among elite Midwest teams 9. NCC: have tested themselves as much as anyone in country; Won't punish for narrow loss to Benedicitine 10. Endicott: nice sweep over Naz but would love to see them play another big match; Nothing big until Wentworth next Tuesday 11. Southern Virginia: Great road win over JC helps them leapfrog a few teams; had the chance to watch and was impressed with their pins- big time 12. Lancaster Bible: Currently have the H2H over Arcadia and competitive against Stevens; Chance for another quality win down road against JC 13. Arcadia: Win over Stevenson vaults them back into poll esp. with H2H over Vassar who is in this region; tested themselves early and often during non-con 14. Hunter: Biggest signature win of remaining group having beaten NP; would love to see them playing more 15. St. Joe's (LI): no real signature win aside from NYU- but they kicked the snot out of us on Wednesday and passed my eye test
Also Considered: Juniata, MIT, Elms, Vassar, St. John Fischer
