Lamp is impressive. Others pins to consider - Solan, Knight, Rottman, Tufuga, Tangutur, Hartley... You’re right those are all solid guys but not a single one of them is as dominant as Lamp to me. the guy is a monster offensively with an amazing serve. Lamp is good but he wasn’t dominant at JOs and others are at the same level!

Not as strong as it could have been. However some up and comers will get an opportunity and international experience. That is a win for USA vb

I feel like giving their top prospects a chance to train together and have international experience would be way more beneficial than sending a roster to Cuba of guys that will never see the inside of the ASC training for the men’s team (with a couple exceptions). Also Lamp is a glorified serving specialist who can bounce a ball in hitting lines, there are much more effective outsides in his class.
