I’m still proud of this team! Way to set the standard for the years to come. This team banked in on the great season and hope that the fans will continue to support both men’s and women’s volleyball.

Do we see Colton as OH1 next year? Who's gonna be OH2?

I think the standard was set with Mol, Jennings, Fey class. They did have a down year last season but I like the groove the coaches are in recruiting and developement wise with the players they get. I really like the freshman class coming in (redshirts included) the type of players that will keep the program winning and attendance high.

Watching the replay. It is heartbreaking to see these guys in tears in the end. They tried their best. There's always next time.

This past season it was all about, not leaving it up to the selection committee. Next year, should be about, finishing it. To me, this team, meaning next year's team, is still hungry, cause they did not quite finish. Meaning, they did not win the National Championship title. That can only equate to Hawaii being a very dangerous team next year. The player should know they have to get better to become a National Championship team. They did have an exceptional year, but it was not quite good enough. The players that are returning should know that they need to get better to become a National Championship team. Can you imagine the returning starting players getting better. Scary thought right.

Has an university ever won a women's and men's volleyball championship in the same athletic year? If not, Hawaii could be the first to do so. Within the next couple of year's. Stanford 1997.

To sum up the season, after watching the two teams play four times, I think if Hawaii had played Long Beach in any other arena on the planet Earth, or if Hawaii had played any other team in NCAA history, Hawaii would be national champions. Unfortunately, they played the 2019 Long Beach team at the Long Beach Pyramid. Some tough luck for the Bows this year, but am awesome season nonetheless.

See it was all about the end prize. That’s what mattered most! All that number #1 the whole year meant not a damn thing if you can’t back it up and win the NC. Yes, they did win a lot of games and yes, they did go far this season. But again when it mattered most they CHOKED AGAIN! Nobody to blame but themselves. Harsh as it may seem it’s true. I hate to beat a dead horse but again no NC match should be played on one of the 2 teams home court. It should always be played on/at a neutral site. JMO.

Yeah, I don't think they played their best volleyball on the night when it mattered, and I might even say it was one of their worst outings as a team (which is somewhat understandable when you play LBSU). Our team was too nervous going into this game with all the media attention and pressure to win it, and I think it kind of got into their heads. Joe had arguably one of his worst setting nights, and it looked like he was trying to do too much (push the pace, etc.), so the accuracy of his sets weren't great. I agree with the home court comment as well, but it just so happened that they selected for this year would be the home court of the national champions, which is a coincidence that definitely sucks for Hawaii.

Not really a coincidence when last years NC match was also held at the Pyramid. But yeah, still sucks!

Hawaii simply got outplayed tonight because they folded. If it wasn't for that 7 point lead in set one, this would've been a sweep by the Beach. I get the whole home court, but if you want to be the best...then you beat the best. Hawaii was oh-fer at the Pyramid with this group of Seniors...just 2-10 overall against LB.

Oops yeah you’re right. My bad. But yeah you’re right again. Wanna be the best gotta beat the best. Warriors just choked when it mattered most. How many times has that happened. I lost count...

The Big West Conference Tournament championship was at the Pyramid though. Never mind, I just saw the other comment.
