I also hope with the bigger following in the islands that UH plans to invest in the "true replay" video equipment like how Long Beach has. I hope so too, knowing Hawaii politics, everyone gets their share of the kitty, before going to the source of needs.

Sharing is caring. Ithink the teams should rotate hosting. Not fair for other schools I gather you would rather have it at the small Pyramid arena on a regular basis. you have a point about a bigger venue. Right now lots of Hawaii fans are on the waiting list for tickets. Hope they’ll add more seats. Additional 1k would be nice.

If they didn't know this team would be in the tourney (and likely the finals) and buy tickets when they came on sale, they're probably bandwagon fans anyway.

I admit I wasnt on the ball enough to know the day they went on sale, but I've been on the wait list for weeks. Anyway, the LBSU fans alone would sell out the Pyramid for the NCAAs, so the size of the venue is definitely the issue.

I think I figured out why Wade has really never sat out Rado, even when he struggles, right now LB has his number.
So, I think Wade hasnt really say Rado out because he will throw in a secret weapon in......Humler. Why else didn't he redshirt and only got to play in meaningless matches....easy, so no one could scout him!!!! Yes, I figured it out...lol

Rado is leaps and bounds better that Humler on his worst day.

I’m going to guess that those who are not redshirts are allowed to dress and be in the bench area. The redshirts sat in the stand as spectators. I saw Alakai Todd at the Bumbucha line and was wearing regular attire. After the match was over they were allowed to join the rest of the teammates on the sideline to celebrate. Maybe keeping the redshirts off the floor was to eliminate distractions since those who are not active seems to goof off and sometimes not pay attention.....cause unnecessary distraction. Big West only allows a total of fifteen players on the floor for the tournament. There are five red shirt freshman. Brett Sheward is included, but he is Gage’s only backup but still a redshirt. UH had 14 on the floor including Brett. The whole team is getting medals.

Rado is leaps and bounds better that Humler on his worst day. But we haven't really even seen Humler. I understand why Wade chooses to keep Rado in because although he may be having a bad offensive game, he still provides a large block and his serve. With that said, I like what I have seen from Humler, and I do think he should be given a chance more, but maybe not at this point of the season.

Rado is leaps and bounds better that Humler on his worst day. Rado wasn’t all that as a freshmen either. Humler has things to work on.

Humler will get his shot at OH next year. In pregame warm ups, he is in the passing rotation so I am assuming he is the heir apparent to Stijn and not Rado. Dimi will be battling Rado next season.
Humler will need to step up his passing and defense but if he can improve like how SVT did from year to year, he could be good.

He has better ball control than Rado and not that far off from SVT, who has improved but is still a weak passer, Colton/Gage will be doing most of the passing anyway like this season.

Rado imo will always see PT even in his worst days due to the fact that he is a huge blocking presence. On times he gets blocked the ball was set too close to the net he couldnt do anything but to just challenge the block, and he is facing mostly triples. He needs to work on varying his shots, I want to see him tip or tool the block more often. Last Saturday I think he hit into the net thrice on OOS sets.

Kinda OT. Watching the OIA championship match and Scott Wong just said that York, a high school senior that is heading to a top DIII college, is better than Cowell. I just Lol’d
