Kinda OT. Watching the OIA championship match and Scott Wong just said that York, a high school senior that is heading to a top DIII college, is better than Cowell. I just Lol’d
I watched that match and York, but did they mean how Cowell played during high school? Cause if not, then that's a huge no.

Cowell was really good both at indoor and beach in high school. I like York and think he will do big things at Springfield but I disagree.
Rado is leaps and bounds better that Humler on his worst day.
But we haven't really even seen Humler. I understand why Wade chooses to keep Rado in because although he may be having a bad offensive game, he still provides a large block and his serve. With that said, I like what I have seen from Humler, and I do think he should be given a chance more, but maybe not at this point of the season.
Rado is a formidable blocker and server but he also draws opponent blockers away from our other hitters. Until they stop camping on him joe can set our other weapons which he did vs LB. TJ really likes to hit out of the back row behind the middle decoy. Wonder if Wade’s team is prepping for this.

If he's talking about now it's ridiculous. But there's not enough scholies in D1 to go around for the talent, so the talent gap is narrower between divisions. Lots of D3 players and bench D1 players pretty interchangeable. I mean (like Cowell) he probably got a walk on offer to UH, but decided to go the D3 route and play. If he really gets better like Cowell did, someone will find him.
When you guys watched Ryan Wilcox and Ethan Siegfried during their high school days, did they blow you away?
This is probably meant for Hawaii posters but the only opportunity I got to watch these guys in high school was at Best of the West couple years ago. Was stoked to see how they'd compete against the California teams. Punahou won that tournament and Wilcox got MVP. He wasn't the biggest kid out there but he was super quick and played well all around. Punahou always has a never ending supply of up and coming volleyball players. Who's next?
Humler will get his shot at OH next year. In pregame warm ups, he is in the passing rotation so I am assuming he is the heir apparent to Stijn and not Rado. Dimi will be battling Rado next season.
Humler will need to step up his passing and defense but if he can improve like how SVT did from year to year, he could be good.
Enroll Humler at the Worsley School of Magic and Wizardry on the Volleyball court.
Wow....looks like this team will be filled with a bunch of jumping jacks. The ones coming in can all jump. ...along with Cole Hogland from this past year’s class.
