Carlini is in the same predicament as last year. She has weak outsides and a monster opposite who all need different sets to be effective. Picci can pass but can't hit opposite Bartch who really only hit, sometimes... At least her libero and middles are a major improvement from Scandicci.

She can't pass but she's a very strong hitter, better than Bartsch imho;she's recovering from an injury

Bartsch isn't lighting anything up.

Plak has a knee injury during practice, but I don't know when she will be in the right form to back on court.

Picci can't buy a kill.. she couldn't 5 years ago either when she was old then... Pomi won their first ever Champions League mostly thanks to Picinini just like 3 years ago...she was named MVP. And then a year later Novara won their first ever Italian League Tittle with Picinini.

I remember when she got hot that year but I remember more times than not when she's been blocked off the court and dug way too many times to count. She was a great player at one time.. very Logan Tom like but not anymore.

Novara stays perfect and now is in first place in the Italian League. Carlini had a rough go, as did everyone else in the second set, but outplayed Conegliano the rest of the match. Carlini struggled at times but overall was better than her counterpart. If Novara can get more production out of Bartsch and they find better their first contact they'll be tough to stop. These are the two best teams this year, no doubt.
Egonu is incredible.

From 1-3 to 3-1, great comeback for Novara. I think Imoco is not in their best mode though. Egnou is just unbelievably amazing.
