So after Colorado it looks like UCLA has gone back to their beginning of the season ways! I think Colorado just has an awful record with losing the first 10 games in Conference and being mostly freshman and sophomores. Ability wise they are a solid Pac-12 team. Losing in 3 kind of sucks but a Colorado loss is not as bad as one might think.

Maybe they should go back to running a 5-1. Thoughts?? One setter would allow for some consistency. I haven’t seen Thompson block though.

PSU literally was pulling Blossom off the net and allowing the MB's to solo block the outside. I mean, it didn't work... but still she was in the front row.

Those setters are on the court for a 5-1 despite their ineffective block because they are too valuable as a setter. Thompson is hardly that. Also haven't they just beat UW WSU CAL and Stanford in a 6-2???

She gets reasonable amount of space taken up and doesn't get tooled often. Teams are not abusing Nebraska down the line so I don't think her blocking is too much of an issue

This board has sure cooled off since the Bruins have become a respectable team once again. The double sweep of Cal this season was sure a surprise!! As the season winds down, I was wondering what changes y’all would like to see. Has Sealy done enough to save his job?

I think, given the recruiting future, and the turn around they are showing at this point, you give them at least another year to see what they can do. Sealy has one more year on his contract. Then reevaluate.

Hadrych was a pleasant surprise. She was bombing away with Mac May vs Stanford. She is going to be good..

UCLA has 3 of the 4 of the bottom feeders left on their schedule. If they win out, they would be 18-11, which would be a very good record, playing in a tough conference like the PAC 12. Plus they got some pretty big time kids coming in. I think Sealy’s job is pretty secure for a while.

What will happen is Bruin fan’s biggest nightmare Keller will be hired away and get stuck with Sealy for 4-6 more years.

The passing needs to improve. May and Barry have struggled.
They need to get the middles involved. Ryan gets her share but Smith rarely ever get sets. Yes, the passing needs to improve in order for the middles to get involved, but even when the passing is good, they are choosing to set the outsides instead. Stop subbing in Savage, especially when Smith isn't even getting sets to hit.
I still can't believe Mosser is playing. Let Harrer play to see if she can get anything going for the team.
I'm just happy with Simo's role this season. It makes me wonder why she wasn't used in this role more last year, especially in place of Mosser.
