Speaking of 6-2, I wouldn't be shocked if they explored that option with Birdie as setter/opposite.

I miss the days when I could come on this thread and not see the same redundant posts about King's playing time, Monserez' setting, giving Carlton the reins and the coaching staff's abilities. New topic! I've been looking into next year's recruits a little more. FIVB has Sofia listed closer to 5'11 rather than 6'1 (which I trust a little more than USA numbers). I don't think we've started a 5 foot something outside hitter since Santos-Lamb, and she was about 5'10 and frequently in and out of the lineup because of injuries and inconsistency. Sure, it doesn't really matter for what happens in the 2020 season but it may for 2021. Which then makes me wonder about what the staff will choose to do with Hendrickson. She was the GPOY as an OH and if Marlie beats her out at the setting position, I find it hard to believe that she won't see court time at her size and ability to play on the outside. Thoughts? Behind hall and hammons, both top 10 OH recruits, as well as being senior / junior next year, I do t think Hendrickson would unseat either of them. And ceaser will be eligible. If Hendrickson doesn't set, which I think she will, they should definitely be red shirting her.

Not sure what answer you are looking for exactly but in 2021 they bring in 6’3 outside hitter Merritt Beason. So they’ll have Hall, Cesaer, Victoria and Beason on the pins in 2021. Two experienced seniors in Hall and Cesaer. My guess is the staff wants Hendrickson as a setter as they did Huskey. But in 2022 with Hall and Cesar gone plus Monserez, I would assume Hendrickson would take over setting duties. I have no idea who Florida is bringing in for 2022.

I think Hendrickson will be better next year than monserez unless monserez can prove she can be consistent. I dog on monserez I know, but I do not think she is bad, I juts don't think she is a top 15 team setter imo

Saying that I don't think the setter is propelling them forward is from a fans pov

We get it. Her family gets it. Thanks for contributing. Again, we all get it.
