Y’all are so forgetful that 2 days ago everyone was saying MBH was the only OH who could crush balls OOS and now she’s on the bench? She is the weakest passer of all of our Outsides. Hence my decision. She hasn’t been bad this season. Her passing is ok.

Whatever happened to Inky from Stanford? Injuries took their toll, unfortunately.

Right now, the U.S. don't have the same calibre of athletes they did the past 3 Olympic Games to even medal.

Right now, the U.S. don't have the same calibre of athletes they did the past 3 Olympic Games to even medal. Really? I disagree. Thompson is a better athlete than any of the opposites in 2016. The outside hitters are the same (but with a more experienced Robinson and Bartsch adds depth that wasn't there). Carlini is a great athlete. She can't pass, but Courtney is a better athlete than Banwarth. You probably have a point at middle with Foluke and Chiaka both being unavailable for this tournament, but Washington looked REALLY good.

We desperately need Foluke/Ogbogu middle combo to be successful.

Did anyone hear any mention of why Chiaka was removed from the roster? She hasn’t posted much on Instagram or Twitter.

And the fact that Sunderland and KB made no mention of it makes me a little nervous. They 100%, without a doubt, asked Karch where she was... and Karch gave them the answer... Was the answer was so boring it wasn't even worth mentioning (she had a family function to attend, for example) or did Karch ask them not to share on the broadcast?

The announcers referenced conversations and email exchanges with Karch. This was obviously talked about. Chiaka’s IG and twitter have been quiet. If it’s injury, they could be keeping it quiet because it could impact her professional season.

One of the the US Volleyball great mysteries. Sunderland has no issue usually giving out the dirt that he is hearing from coaches, but nothing on Chiaka. My worry is a serious injury (ACL, etc.). Hope she is back for World Cup. If not, they have Dixon, Washington...and then down to probably Tapp and Adams.
