I would not say that LBSU is a lock to get into the NCAA Tournament. If LBSU were to get swept by Hawaii this weekend, then lose in the semi-finals of the BWC Tournament. LBSU could find themselves on the outside looking on in the NCAA Tournament. If this were the case, the only thing going for LBSU being an at-large pick, is that the NCAA Tournament is being played at LBSU. So who would leapfrog the Beach? UCLA? SC? BYU maybe..... BYU's toast.

Hey 49ers, do you know which section in the Walter Pyramid is usually for the visiting team? Looking to purchase my tickets online for the UH vs LBSU match. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! 104 and 105 is behind the visitor bench But there s no reason you cant sit in any avail seat you can buy One time, at a big west school that shall remain nameless, I was sold a ticket by the ticket office in the middle if a booster section that turned out as a booster resale. Well, it was the worst experience at a sporting event in my life. Was actually physically threatened. Really rude behavior which I was shocked by. That experience wont happen to you at the Pyramid.

UH and LBSU are in the NCAA's. Doesnt matter what the hell happens between now and then. They are locked in. They will just be fighting for who becomes the #1 seed while the other will be #2. I would not say that LBSU is a lock to get into the NCAA Tournament. If LBSU were to get swept by Hawaii this weekend, then lose in the semi-finals of the BWC Tournament. Who has a better resume than Long Beach? I'll wait for your response and please provide facts and evidence to support your argument.

Watched the UCSB vs LBSU games and they both play the same defensively because they are so scrappy and fly all over the place. But UCSB didnt have the gunners to finish and secure those matches and LBSU does.
Hawaii needs to serve tough, terminate and not allow LBSU any extended rallies, put that #1 block up and get Gage, Stijn, and Colton to dig balls up like never before, and keep the crowd shut. Very doable. Lol
Exciting matches ahead.

I think the wildcards will be how Solbrig and Colton play. We know how the others perform, but if Joe can help get them going offensively with the rest....watch out.

It used to be when I was purchasing tickets at the Pyramid (As recent as the UCLA game this season I think!) there were sections that I would get a pop-up that that section was bench seating rather than the individual chairs. I am not getting that pop-up now and am wondering if that is still the case with those sections. I want a regular seat. Thanks for your help.

I think the wildcards will be how Solbrig and Colton play. We know how the others perform, but if Joe can help get them going offensively with the rest....watch out. Joe will just need to keep Dalton and Pat involved consistently throughout the match, to keep the blockers from camping on Rado and Stijn. He will also need to spread the offense across the net sending Dalton behind him on the step out. The bic should be used as well as we didn't see much of that this weekend against UCSB. Colton is usually money from the bic. Wade will also have to keep an eye on the match-ups, if Colton is matched up against Ensing, he might struggle with the block in front of him, but if Colton can be match against Tuaniga he might find more success.

He really needs to step it up. Agreed. Colton needs to step it up to whole another level. I don’t know what’s going on with him. He is not injured. He’s played well against thought teams like UCI and Pepperdine. Ever since the BYU weekend he hasn’t been playing to his potential.

LBSU's DeFalco, Ensing, and Tuaniga, vs Hawaii's SVT, Parapunov, and Joe Worsley, these players to me are even. So you have to look at the other position players, OH2, Middles, and Libero. Which team has the better players at these 4 positions. In my opinion, Hawaii has the better players in these 4 positions, then LBSU. So you have to say, Hawaii should win these 2 matches.

The problem with Colton is that opposing teams have been putting a taller blocker on him. But by doing that, the opposing teams have put a smaller blocker on SVT. Pick your poison, try to slow down SVT with a taller blocker, leaving Colton hitting against a smaller blocker, or put a taller blocker on Colton, leaving SVT to hit against a shorter blocker.
