Is there any talks about BW adding more schools for Mens VB? This six conference member sucks! I've mentioned this before, if the BWC says they are all about being the premiere volleyball league in the Division I level (and rightfully so) they need to encourage the other BWC schools to begin men's volleyball programs. UC Davis and Cal Poly are at a major disadvantage due to their football programs and Title 9 - but both could thrive in men's volleyball. I also don't see any reason for UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton (umm, hello Jim Donovan) to not have one, as well as Cal State Bakersfield when they join the conference. Would also want UH Hilo, Chaminade or Hawaii Pacific to consider as well.

The Cal Poly board has discussed it before as their women's vb programs are strong. As you mentioned, football is an issue. Fully agreed on Fullerton, with all the HS talent in Orange County alone it seems natural that they add the sport.

It's disgusting as it is that Bakersfield was ALLOWED TO JETTISON some Big West sponsored sports prior to being admiteed and still able to join, especially considering how much they politicked the Cal State Presidents and Chancelor to FORCE the Big West to admit them. to me that was an insult to every existing conference member that sponsors those sports, and yet the Presidents still voted them in. wtf?! Cal Poly would have to dump wrestling in order to add MVB - fat chance that will happen, even if the AD wanted to do it, he wouldn't just to avoid the flack

But if those two schools were to bring back their men's volleyball program, I have a feeling they'd be added to the MPSF conference which has their fellow WCC schools (BYU and Pepperdine).
