So, I've been sick recently -- sore throat, body aches, headache, fever, hot eyeballs. I got over it, I thought. All the symptoms disappeared except for the coughing. I coughed so much I got a headache from all the pressurized concussive force applied to my cranium during each cough. At first, I thought I was simply sick with a headache until I realized my headaches only occurred after a cough.
Oy vey...

My latest project is trying to find the cheapest and best hummus in my area, short of making it myself.

Cough is usually the last symptom to go away after an infection, even when you have otherwise recovered. It can linger on for weeks (and somtimes, even months) before it completely goes away. The throat, once it is inflamed or becomes sensitive, takes awhile to return to it's normal state. My cough lasted a good few months before it went away completely. It certainly was unpleasasnt to endure and was a nuisance. But it will go away. That's the thing that will cheer you up. It just takes time.

Oh, there's a health thread.
I have 4 or 5 terminal ailments right now. I'm hoping they get better, as terminal illnesses don't.

Had a FaceTime session with my mother. I hate it when she starts asking questions about bowel movements, prostate, and blood circulation. Also other sensitive topics like, "How's everything in the bedroom department?" she asks innocently. Then, forget the euphemisms, she starts to get clinical. "You're not getting any younger, you know. Is the erection consistent?" And I could hear my dad in the background, "Oy vey...have you no shame? I'm verklempt!"
Oy vey...

Just the other day, I was telling someone how great it was to live in California because of the relatively tame-to-nonexistent mosquitoes and right now, I’ve got skeeter bites all over my legs and arms from working outdoors without a shirt. I usually leave them alone and the swelling goes away. Sometimes, I apply a cold compress which stops me from scratching them. But I gots too many now.

my health is riding the struggle bus. i re-introduced exercising back into my life last august. since then, i have a suffered plantar fasciitis in my right foot and multiple strains in my right calf.
now i am suffering a pulled/strained rib muscle in my left rib cage. this is so uncomfortable that i've had to eliminate everything from my routine except cardio.
(i wonder if this should go in the exercise thread)

How to improve your health dramatically:
1. Get as much sun exposure for the first two hours of sunrise and last two hours of sunset as possible, as naked as possible. In between those hours depends on your ability to handle UVC.
2. Go Paleo, local, and humane diet. Eliminate grains completely.
3. Mitigate as much man-made EMF as possible. (This should be number 1 but is the most difficult to do since we're inundated in most of society.)
4. A cold shower a day keeps the doctor away. -Wim Hof
5. Play volleyball.

I don't think I'm suffering from male menopause. Here are the symptoms:
-low energy -depression or sadness -decreased motivation -lowered self-confidence -difficulty concentrating -insomnia or difficulty sleeping -increased body fat -reduced muscle mass and feelings of physical weakness -gynecomastia, or development of breasts -decreased bone density -erectile dysfunction -reduced libido -infertility

lol
how thorough in listing the symptoms for an illness you don't have, should've known better re VT contests.
But in all seriousness since you do spend a lot of time on screens you should have both daytime and nighttime blue blockers along with f.lux running all the time. Your blood sugar levels are spiked with blue light which penetrate your body include thyroids, you must have diabetic issues regardless if you're unaware of them. It also destroys the weak covalent bond between melanopsin and retinol preventing melatonin production and immune system optimization.
Modern society and genetics are literally being destroyed by toxic light. Luckily the sixth great extinction's well in progress.
