No partners announced yet. Will Alison retire? 😱 This is actually a reasonable question, but also a testament to Alison's greatness over the years. Last year, mostly playing with a partner who was a terrible fit for him, he had as good a season as any US blocker since Jake Gibb was winning. (other than Phil of course). And that year is such a disappointment by his standards that we are talking about him retiring. I hope he keeps playing, he isnt that old (younger than Theo or Samoilovs), but he also carries a ton of mass compared to other players his size.

Andre has definitely regretted the decision to leave Evandro and move to Alison. But depending on how Evandro feels, it’s too late. If they swap partners it’ll be Alison/Bruno and Evandro/Andre again.

Another translated article, but longer:
Alison Mamute after the start of the Olympic race in Doha Early elimination at the World Circuit stage and below-expected results motivated the end of the project
The duo Alison Mamute and Andre Stein opened the nine-month partnership on Monday. The decision took the world of beach volleyball by surprise as the Brazilian Olympic race began during the last week in the Doha round of the Beach Volleyball World Tour. The decision came from André, who said he was frustrated by the poor results.
"It was not an easy decision. We had a lot of expectations, a well-planned project, but unfortunately we did not get the results. It was not for lack of commitment, training and dedication. We are starting the Olympic race and, thinking about the dream we have, to be in Japan next year, I think the time to make that decision was now. I have a lot of respect and affection for Alison, for Leandro, the friendship between us is strengthened even more after this period, "André said.
The pair Alison / Andre began in May 2018, when the Olympic champion separated from Bruno Schmidt and called the young to form the partnership. At the time, André was a partner of Evandro, and the two lived together the best moment of their career. They were current champions of the World Circuit, the World Cup and the Brazilian Circuit. In the nine months of the project, Alison and Andre had the best results in the vice-championships of the Moscow stage of the World Circuit and Palms of the Brazilian Circuit.
"It was André's decision and I have to respect him. I understand his side and I'm sad because our team tried everything, worked hard to achieve the results, but they did not come. Sadly, the duo ends, but a friendship is much stronger than we had before, a very strong relationship, of brothers themselves. It happened all of a sudden and this moment is to be calm. I'm not thinking about partner yet. I want to get home and gauge what the options are, "Alison said.
André also has yet to announce who will be his new partner for the Olympic race.

If they want to play Xiamen, they only have till the end of this week to register with the new teammate without late penalty.

wow Andre must feel horrible. He made the worst decision he could make when he left the nr. 1 team in the world to play just nine months with Alison.

According to an article in Brazil Andre contacted Evandro asking him to play again together and Evandro said No! This is hilarious! Lol Although I understand that Evandro said no, I wonder whether he'll ever be as successful with Bruno as he was with Andre.

According to an article in Brazil Andre contacted Evandro asking him to play again together and Evandro said No! This is hilarious! Lol Hahaha Evandro’s standing his ground. But will he get the same results with Bruno? If all fails, will Andre call Alison for a take 2? 🤦🏻♀️

And the only two guys that could possible play with André and Alison are Alvaro Filho(currently playing with Ricardo) and George(currently playing with Thiago). Lets wait and see what happens.
