What about Tri/Trevor and Slick/Allen? Slick/Allen are in the qualifier as there are three teams for two spots. Tri/Trevor pulled out 😳 What are 2T thinking?

Anyone going to the the CQ? I'm planning to watch. I'm a 5 minute walk to MB Pier.

I predict 2C taking this one.
If it does happen, I think Hyden/Doherty really have to re-evaluate their partnership and next steps.

Really, the loser of this match gets pushed further down the pecking order. While I like Hyden, I'm rooting for the C's as well, because they are trying to be volleyball pros. For John and Ryan, not sure this is where either is concentrating.

Unless they have other thoughts about going to Xiamen. Maybe one of them is injured? Can’t think of any other legit explanation. Good opportunity for a couple other teams to catch up now.

Any FIVB success is just gravy but no fault to them for giving it a try.

Walsh-Jennings/Sweat win first match 21-18, 21-19. Lots of ace serves although no wind. Sweat got most of the serves and hit very few balls. Howard and Reeves couldn't pick up shots. Lots of mistakes by both teams.

Let's hope Bourne isn't having any setbacks on his way coming back. After being out for as long as he was I can't imagine hes all of a sudden in the clear and that illness behind him.

Losing there would be a terrible result and maybe they want to wait and see if they can get into other events just on points.
