Hyden/Dougherty win on disputed call 22-20, 26-28, 15-13. Ref called a push on Patterson on Dougherty block at match point. Lots of hitting errors by both teams. Hyden making uncharacteristic hitting errors. Dougherty passing better today.

They aren't MolSorum or anything but they seem to be playing pretty well

Looks like a great match to watch by the scores.

Didn't see a ton of them but he was good in a windstorm against a team that couldn't have won a Toyota tour event and absolutely embarrassing versus Adrian. Had no idea what to do and gave up tons of virtually free swings

Walsh-Jennings/Sweat win 16-21, 21-16, 15-12. Walsh-Jennings swinging well and hitting hard. I thought the best player on the court was Flint. Day was getting served and making a lot of errors the last two sets.

I think she belongs right there with Stockman and Sponcil in the second tier of US defenders. Wish Kerri would pick her up

Seems like all the CQ men’s teams are pretty close right now.
Doha CQ Chasey beat Stilly
Sydney Rheo beat Chasey and Stilly Stilly beat Jaylor
Norceca CQ Chasey beat Rheo Stilly beat Hoerty
China CQ Hoerty beat Chasey

Not sure Betsi over Brooke was always as clear as it seems now. If Betsi did make that decision then hopefully she will change her mind

They probably think they’re already one of the top two US teams.

I am not arguing that Betsi is not better, just that it was only relatively recently, if at all, that it became this clear.
