I don’t think we will see Gibb/Crabb for awhile on the FIVB. How do you know?

http://instagram.com/p/Bx463ooIXED Now that April’s mentioned it, she’s right. The Volley Vikings played “the whole AVP”. Breezed through John and Ryan in Round of 16. Tight 3 setter with Dalcena in Quarters. Breezed through T2 in the Semis.

Mol/Sorum get their second gold this week after winning in Brazil last Sunday and traveling 40 hours to China. Evandro with some bombs on serve but Norway calmed down after the first set and won in 3. Seems hard to find nicer guys on the tour than the Vikings. Their humility is especially impressive with how well they have done at a young age. Nice to see Evandro back in a final too. The only two players out there right now that can really measure up to Mol are Evandro and Phil (and Phil maybe not so often anymore). Would love to see Bruno continue this renaissance so they can challenge Norway more often Don't forget the Russians. They can match all of the teams physically as well as on playing ability.

Best part of the men's event for me was when Stoya and his partner thought they could win serving Evandro and he went up and bombed away against Stoya's block. That was an epic confrontation and I was amazed that the Russian's couldnt get to him even a little bit

Evandro getting every serve and swinging away against Stoya is really something to see. All those reps seem to be helping the jump serve too because he is putting Russia in trouble on every serve. This team is playing like Ive hoped they would all year. Hopefully that doesnt change when Russia goes to Bruno. 23flavors whats the feeling in Brazil about these guys? Is it waiting for the inevitable wins or do they see them as a team in crisis? Despite Bruno’s struggles vs Norway, I think you see the upside to this team after this past weekend. It was going to take some time to get used to each other. Evandro playing left side is very different, especially from a setting standpoint.
