Tri mentioned it’s a 40 hour journey one way from Itapema to Jinjiang. No wonder ATeam dropped.

That means basically whoever is going from Itapema to Jinjiang must endure the long travel. Tri said his is Itapema to Rio to Chicago to Hong Kong and then finally to Jinjiang. Dalcena and Gibb/Crabb will be the only ones flying from Austin to Jinjiang. Slightly better for them. ATeam is relatively close in entry points with 2S. And Sponcil/Claes are going to start playing again. Anyone can fall in CQ with missing a tournament and another team doing well. I wonder when and if KWJ/BS will surpass the third team right now to avoid the CQ.

Most of the top teams (Australia, Czech Republic and some of the German teams) who skipped Brazil will be in China. And some who went to Brazil will be skipping this one.
Let’s see how things roll out and if USA can get a spot on the podium.

KW/BS have been on a really great run in CQs and qualifiers, but you never know when you are going to draw a team like Ana/Rebecca in the qualifier. They are due for a setback. Fingers crossed it doesnt happen until they are a permanent MD fixture, but they cant always be at the top of their game

Fingers crossed it doesnt happen until they are a permanent MD fixture, but they cant always be at the top of their game Looks like Ana/Rebecca finally made it into the main draw. But this qualifier has 32 teams so KWJ/BS will need to win twice to get in. The top Canadians and the ATeam may be missing, but more of the top European teams are there plus the Aussies. So the field is strong, probably comparable to Itapema.

What’s with Menegatti/Toth? They’re not in Jinjiang and were not in itapema either.

KW/BS so close to jumping over a bunch of USA (present and non present) in the entry list... I know its luck of the draw when it comes to brackets but this team has only been together for 7 months... and the improvement is so stellar... I'd love to see Alix/April and KW/BS in Tokyo. It'll be interesting to see how Summer and Sara do this week as well, someone had mentioned in a previous board about the potential ceiling of this team might have been met... I think it has to do with A. training differences... and B. athletic ability... Sara destroys Summer at both... and Sara's fire is way higher than Summers... I wonder if that'll come into play down the road...

Not saying Sara shouldnt leave her (she should play with Kerri) but in terms of fire, Im not sure Sara is any more driven

Or maybe you have some inside information?
