Andre/George lost Set 1 to a Swiss team who I’m sure no one has heard of.

I think they have a shot, the German team they'll play to get in, hasn't done all that much this year. Not looking good. Hope they turn it around lost game 1 21/16 Down 5-7 now. Expensive to fly from NYC to Warsaw to Seattle to Hamburg.

So....In NYC, we had a preview of the CQ, Chase & Casey squeaked out a win over Billy/Slick. 18-21, 21-18, 15-13 I was thinking Chase and Casey had a pretty good run, but this is too close to call. Looks like those here who were going nuts about Chase when he and Casey took second in Austin may want to pump the brakes here. This is probably their level, about the same as Stafford/Allen or Hyden/Doherty but not close to the top tier of US teams

Likely no partner swaps until after Tokyo though Reid should consider trying as Tokyo isn't happening for him.

Casey has the highest level of experience out there. Chase is still learning. I would like to see Chase play with Tri and let Tri go full time defense.

It's not the worst situation for Chase but he's improved so rapidly, he's physically ready to contend for wins not 5th place matches.

He also maybe the blocker to get the call up in case of injury.

It's so impressive the jump he made this offseason, in better shape, far more focused, it's like the guy we expected to show up week one. With the right partner he could be winning right now which is crazy considering where he was last season.

Also Varenhorst and the Cubans are out. It's tough out there.

Dalcena vs Argentina (also the same team for their first pool play match at World Champs), Thole/Wickler vs Seidl/Waller
Brunner/Priddy vs Plavins/Toc, Mol/Sorum vs Betzien/Erdmann
Crabb/Bourne vs Doppler/Horst, Qatar vs Slovakia
Think T2 has the best pool.

Qualifier here was especially brutal. Only the 2 and 7 from the top 8 seeds made it in.
2 from seeds 1-8 3 from seeds 9-16 2 from seeds 17-24 1 from seeds 25-30 (the 25)
