Yeah, I understood that joke too. Good one! How did Hanlon redshirt twice? Injury? Yes.

Huge night for the conference with all 10 teams in action. Highlights:
Marquette travels to St. John's - Marquette wants a win to help lock down a seed in the NCAAs and SJU wants a win to cement their hope for a conference tourney spot.
Nova at Butler - Nova swept at home, but hasn't played great since. Butler is 3-1 during that time, with a big 3-1 home win over SJU, and only a loss at Creighton. A Nova win will give them a big leg up for the conference tournament with the tie breaker over Butler.
Georgetown at Xavier - the Musketeers need to take care of business at home. At 4-4, they're one off the pace for one of the last two spots in the conference tourney.

I came home early to watch the Creighton at Providence match and discovered that Providence charges $7 for a 24 hour pass to watch on-line. It seems like they are the only school in the Big East to charge to watch volleyball on-line.

Brielle Mullally continues to torch Creighton and Providence gets a set point. Creighton saves it and blocks Mullally to get a set point of their own. A Kostelac kill lets Creighton eke by again, 27-25.

After 2 sets, Mullally is outhitting Davis .529 to -.077. We are going to have a new FOW if this continues! Overall, Creighton at .217 and Providence at .208. Friar block giving Creighton fits.
