Drews plays great: "But is she really the answer? Can she keep it consistent though? I'm just not sure. I'd rather see Thompson."
Thompson plays trash: "She can play though! She has so much potential! She just needs a better setter."
Drews has never been afforded the chance to do great by most on this board (since she first joined the team) often getting written off WITH Murphy, despite being a different player. Y'all are exhausting.

Drews has certainly taken her fair share of criticism on this board - and she has stepped it up considerably, which I'm thrilled to see. Thompson has PLENTY of time to maximize her potential, which is awesome for us. I want to see what Cuttino can do on this team too. These 3 options are pretty awesome for us.

I agree. People have their favorites and will often put down the other players so their fave can “shine” or put blame on other players instead. It doesn’t only happen to Drews, it is petty and exhausting.

I think Poulter over Hancock is the eventual answer. Three inches taller, more physical, better blocker, better attacker at net, better for the style Karch wants to play. Just needs experience.
But Hancock played well today in the last two games.

If you are talking about my post you can just tag me next time instead of being passive aggressive. I haven’t had the opportunity to watch VNL. So my question as to her being “the answer” was posed by those who have watched her progression thus far in the tournament. I have seen her play some before but she hadn’t asserted herself for the position and I would like nothing more than some player do that and if it be Drews so be it.
Don’t be so easily offended, it’s just volleyball after all.
After watching this is there any reason to bring in Foluke or Hill or any of the other starters? Larson and Krob for sure in Nebraska just to make the home town fans happy. Week 5 in China is the last big challenge and that is followed right up with the finals. I'm sure Karch would like to get that 1 million again and any win helps his cause as he certainly would like another quad to try and win gold.
