SMU just defeated WSU in a 4-set battle in Wichita (25-23, 26-28, 25-18, 31-29).

WSU had some swings to send it to 5 but SMU holds them off.
Big win for Tulane on the road over Houston in 4. If the stats are correct Tulane’s normal Libero McHugh had 8 kills and 6 aces.
Tulsa beat Memphis.
UConn over Temple.

Tulsa beat Memphis. UConn over Temple. Tulane moved McHugh to OH and Heidelberg to L. Kaylie is awesome!!! She literally took over the end of the 4th set. A kill, and 3 aces very late. Horsfall had 36 digs over Memphis. What do you think about post-season awards so far? POY - Jordan Thompson (Cincinnati) SOY - Lily Heim (SMU) LOY - Taylor Horsfall (Tulsa) COY - ? Maybe Houston's?

Wow that’s incredible. I knew Heidelberg has had some sort of elbow issues so they must have flipped her and McHugh who is listed at 5-6 to Leftside.
Now the West is totally up for grabs. Tulane vs SMU is huge and Tulsa vs Houston.
East Division decided tomorrow between UCF vs Cinci.

I agree with your first 3 picks but Karbo may take LOY. Coach is up for grabs.

I agree with your first 3 picks but Karbo may take LOY. Coach is up for grabs. No way. The numbers aren’t close. Taylor Horsfall is tops in the nation for digs/set. Katie Karbo 0.87 aps 0.18 ace/s 5.23 dig/s Taylor Horsfall 1.16 aps 0.34 ace/s 6.17 dig/s

You are right. Taylor has it.
UConn knocks off Houston. SMU beat Tulsa. Tulane beat Temple. So Friday’s game with SMU vs Tulane will be for 1st place in the West division.
Cinci takes 1st with win over UCF. Which I called:)

Tulane knocks off SMU. WSU beats Tulsa. Houston beats Memphis.
Looks like if Tulane wins on Sunday vs Memphis they win the West Division if I’m reading it correctly.
So Cinci and Tulane get the 1st round byes and UCF is the 3rd seed.

Looks like if Tulane wins on Sunday vs Memphis they win the West Division if I’m reading it correctly. Assuming Tulane beats Memphis ... If Houston beats SMU (unlikely, but ...), I think they are first ahead of Tulane in the West with an intra-West best record of 8-2 v 7-3 for Tulane. Then it would be Houston, Tulane, SMU, and Tulsa qualifying for the conference tournament from the West. If SMU beats Houston, then it is Tulane, SMU, Houston, and Tulsa from the West. If I'm reading the tie-breaking policy correctly.

Flying moose: you got it right!! So Tulane or the SMU/Houston winner will be #2, and the two that aren't #2 of SMU/Houston/Tulane will play each other in the 1st round. #3 UCF vs. #6 Tulsa looks like a set in stone, 1st round match!
