NC State has one of the nicest places to play in the ACC. Only $50 per season ticket $25 per for Kids and Seniors $35 mil renovation in 2016 That is one of nicest places to play in the country. WOW If BYU ever does a redo on the Smith Fieldhouse, they could use this facility as a template. Of course, why would you when crazed students are practically on the floor distracting the opponent.

$900 for Minnesota. Premium seating on the floor. Includes parking and food for every match. Most of it is a donation to the program. The new seats in the box go for $2,000 each. I passed, because I like my seats better. But also heard they are sold out, too.

I believe they were on sale for $60 at the open house for the new arena. Don't know the regular price. Only $8 at the door. Just checked, and the regular season ticket price is $75. You'd have to go to at least 8 games in order to save money, and given the parking situation on Football weekends, that would not be very easy to do. This year I have only 7 games penciled into my schedule; Texas Tech in August, Miami(OH) in September, Michigan and Iowa in October, and Minnesota, Northwestern and Illinois in November. That's a LOT of games, and it would still be cheaper for me to just pay at the door.

Not sure if my travel plans will find me in the Boulder area or not much or not, so I haven't bought anything yet, but looks like the Univ. of Colorado- Boulder season ticket prices are (not including what looks like a $10 order fee):
Floor seats $75 (believe one row of folding portable chairs on the floor on the other side of the court opposite the player benches (so facing them); assume they have the added perk of occasionally getting to help move the extra vballs from one side of the court to the other!?!)
Reserved $60
General Admission $40 (At least in the past, only the 1st 20-25 rows or so of the 3 middle sections on each side of the court are reserved (with I believe their being 36 or so rows overall), so there are plenty of GA seats that still have good center court views.)
There's also a Women's sports pass for $125 (+11.50 order fee), which gives the holder general admission tickets for all home games/ matches for the 3 women's sports (vball, bball and soccer) at CU which charge admission.

So, basically all of the programs that would love to just get some butts in seats, offer season tickets for under $100, and single match tickets for $10 or less. The few, mainly B1G, and also Hawaii, programs that fill all of their seats with demand for more space, charge a huge amount more, which goes as a "donation" to help the program.

When I was looking on the GopherSports site for tickets/prices, it said that all premium seats (and all season tickets) are sold out.

Yes. An additional $100 per ticket for seats in the B Section. I think the lower "A" tickets are a lot more than $100 donation, aren't they? I thought I heard $1500 for courtside? “A” section used to be more than “B” but I’m pretty sure that’s not the case anymore. I believe the black padded seats on the end are $2,000 plus the donation. I could be mistaken.

With a lot of mid-Majors, they don't have the luxury of getting a huge conference football money distribution check so they invent marketing incentives like arena level sponsor seats with ultra parking and free food. More so, these high-level donors are able to contribute more to the team by donating to the various tournaments, fundraising events, and banquets.

Every program has essentially two competing goals: 1) get all the money that the market will bear, 2) get people to show up. Economics tells us that when the supply is unlimited, these are related by price elasticity -- how the demand changes in response to the price. In the rare instances where sellouts are regularly seen, a different curve comes in to play, and price changes in response to the amount that the demand exceeds the supply.

Tennessee: 30 bucks. The best part of being in the shadow of football and basketball is when it comes to seat selection and ticket pricing.
