USA War Trivia
The following wars involved the USA. Name the "bad guys," or the nations/groups that the U.S. (and its allies, if applicable) were fighting. In some cases, the "bad guys" were just one nation/group. In others, more than one. For the ones involving many different non-nation groups, you can simply name the one major group. The first two are easy; the rest, not so much.
1. Korean War (1950-53) 2. Gulf War (1990-91) 3. World War I (1914-18) 4. Kosovo War (1998-99) 5. The War in Afghanistan (2001-present) 6. Iraq War (2003-11) 7. Operation Ocean Shield (2009-16)
(I know all of the above. I knew about Operation Ocean Shield but not by its official name.)

Asked and answered. This was the #1 song 50 years ago today, believe it or not. The following year, on the same date, the #1 song was "I'll Be There" by the Jackson Five, which is more believable than "Sugar, Sugar."

Among the top 10 highest mountains in the world, which country has the most? (Hint: this country has 8 of the 10) 5. Among the top 10 largest lakes (by square mile) in the world, which country has (i.e., entire lake or shared shoreline) the most? (Hint: this country has 4 of the 10; and 7 of the top 15)

The highest mountains are all in the same place. There are a number of countries that intersect there: China, India, Nepal, Pakistan. I'm gonna say it's Nepal.
China is probably the answer to most of these. I think many of the tallest buildings are in China.
Many of the longest bridges are in Japan, so I'll go with that. Bridges are very tricky, though. There is no exact definition of what a bridge is or where it starts and stops. "Span" is probably more significant. I do know that the longest floating bridges in the world are in the US (I drive across them).
Lakes I'll say either Canada or the US.
Stadiums? I'll guess the US.

No guess on my part, however, this question doesn't come as a surprise as I've seen it in many other places. I've even read an article (or maybe it was one of those click-thrus) where they identified various things that you didn't realize had names.

Describe anything you like, and I'll name it.
