Anyone wanna throw out guesses for top 10?? I have a couple in mind, Londot Radar and debeer possibly endlsey Williams Wenaas Rutherford? Londont for sure. Im not so sure about Rutherford though because If she is planning to set in college then I think she is the 4th or 5th setter in the class, but as an oppo I can see top 10 overall. As for debeer I think it will be a toss-up between her, Jacobs, and Mruzik for top 10 as the "undersized ball control" type but all 3 are so good. Endsley had the best arm in the class by a mile, but I think prepvb will put Skinner and Landfair ahead of her just based on athleticism, although I think endsley is amazing. I think Radar is the 2nd or 3rd middle in the class which will relate to a top 10 placement. I can see Wenass and Williams top 10 but I think one is a better fit for the top 10 and will translate to the college game better. Wenass should also be in that undersized ball control type player group.

I'm curious what people think of the setters in this class. Tuaninga is undersized, Hamill road the bench? Johnson was making some plays at JO's, but looked completely forgettable in that AAU final against Top Select. A number of "TALL" setters in this class, but does any setter actually stand out in the class?

I have a soft spot for the “just missed” list, since my kid was once one. Same feelings!!!

I noticed on the "just missed" list - theoretically #101-110 ranked players - half of them were liberos (which is unusual). So perhaps fewer liberos will show up on the top 100 aces. Unfortunately liberos/ds specific players are not highly regarded as must haves..... a lot of shorter outsides turn into fulltime backrow players or are recruited that way.

Endsley is very hyped up in the club world, hype she deserves. Multiple times per set she crushes the ball and is pretty consistent. I don't know how she will turn out in college but she is a top OH in this class. No has mentioned shaffmaster who I'm sure will go top 10, even though I don't agree with it

I have to think Skinner will be top 5, probably top 3.

For the record, the “just missed” 10 that bayarea is referring to includes commits to USC (2), UCSB (2), Auburn, Dayton, Minnesota, Tulane, and Arizona. There is one who is reportedly uncommitted at this time. That uncommitted player is Stanford bound That's often how it works out.

I’m gonna guess the list is heavy on middles. #91 (a middle) was a bit surprising to me (as the writeup about her indicates, she’s still fairly raw); I’d imagine there are quite a few other middles ahead of her on this list who also have high ceilings at the college level but are more polished.

I also don’t think Endlsey makes it that high. She doesn’t move or jump well enough, IMO and surely there are much better backcourt OH’s than her in this class. I commented before the club season started that I really hoped she worked in her movement this year and I’m not quite sure she’s made much strides there. I’d say “maybe” on top 10 for her, probably top 20.

We will know in a week or so!
