The first 10 were announced today. IIRC, we are not supposed to identify the recruits by name, but in previous years it was allowable to list their committed schools. Hope that is still the case, as I know JT and the folks at PV work very hard and this list is theirs. Cough up and buy a subscription if you want the whole deal - they’re cheap.
100. Boston College
99. Purdue
98. Rice
97. Creighton
96. Ole Miss
95. Clemson
94. Louisville
93. Utah
92. TAMU
91. LBSU

I noticed on the "just missed" list - theoretically #101-110 ranked players - half of them were liberos (which is unusual). So perhaps fewer liberos will show up on the top 100 aces.

Did they ever resolve that recruiting service thing that caused a lot of coaches to back off last year?

I noticed that, too, and kinda had the same thought. There are, though, two liberos in the first 10 Senior Aces. It’s got to be hard to project how big an impact anyone will have at the DI level, let alone a defensive player. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. For the record, the “just missed” 10 that bayarea is referring to includes commits to USC (2), UCSB (2), Auburn, Dayton, Minnesota, Tulane, and Arizona. There is one who is reportedly uncommitted at this time.

I have a soft spot for the “just missed” list, since my kid was once one.

Something that interested me was that 5 of the girls were not on the top 100 juniors that they made last year. I like how prep vb recognizes improvement in players.

Only 10 'just missed' this year. It has been 25 for many years. Usually around 6 or 7 Liberos make the top 100. 2016 had 11 (Lake, White, Hentz, Clark), but only 1 of the 25 that just missed. This year there are 8 Liberos that made the top 100 as Juniors with the large number that just missed (T110) - this looks to have more Liberos than usual.

So glad my Prepvolleyball subscription is still current! Haven’t logged in for a while. Guess I got the 3 yr plan last time I renewed. And you’re right, it’s inexpensive and more than worth it.

I have a soft spot for the “just missed” list, since my kid was once one. But more importantly, your kid was a 2nd Round Fantasy pick. #Baller

Anyone wanna throw out guesses for top 10?? I have a couple in mind, Londot Radar and debeer possibly endlsey Williams Wenaas Rutherford? Londont for sure. Im not so sure about Rutherford though because If she is planning to set in college then I think she is the 4th or 5th setter in the class, but as an oppo I can see top 10 overall. As for debeer I think it will be a toss-up between her, Jacobs, and Mruzik for top 10 as the "undersized ball control" type but all 3 are so good. Endsley had the best arm in the class by a mile, but I think prepvb will put Skinner and Landfair ahead of her just based on athleticism, although I think endsley is amazing. I think Radar is the 2nd or 3rd middle in the class which will relate to a top 10 placement. I can see Wenass and Williams top 10 but I think one is a better fit for the top 10 and will translate to the college game better.

I think that the only real safe bets are Ndaiye, Londot, and Landfair. And I'd also assume L. Smith and Skinner on pure physicality.
