When she calls the towel kids over, she lets them wipe for about .5 seconds, comes up next to them, snatches the towel and tosses it back when she's done.

U called white rude and classless. U don’t even know her. That’s what I mean by being judgemental. Your judging her based off what u see for a hour in half competing. That very easy to do and some would call that classless in itself. Pot calling the kettle black in my opinion Calling out what u perceive to be another’s flaws on someone you have prob never met doesn’t make u much better. I typically tend to find people who criticize other is done to make themselves feel better about their own flaws. So, you're saying someone that demands, stomps their feet, rolls their eyes, shakes their head, & yells wouldn't at all be characterized as rude or classless? I'm not judging her nor did I say I was any better than her. I'm stating FACTS of how she acted. White could be totally different off the court, but in my opinion, the way you act in heated moments usually shows the type of person you truly are on the inside, not when everything is rainbows & sunshine. Ok we get it. You don't like kid. Let it go already.

Back to the match, just got to watch it...Hord is unreal, really exciting kid to watch, hits it high and sharp, shaping up to be one of the premier middles in the Country. Blossom I thought ran a really nice offense against Stanford. And then there's Plummer and Hentz, they make big time plays when their team needs them. A few things are concerning about PSU. Their OH attack is questionable and their defense behind the setter. Cathey really struggles (.000 against Stanford; .111 against Oregon and .183 for the season) and Holcomb is a really good passer, but her defense in 1 was questionable against Stanford and Oregon and they gave up a lot of points there. It won't get any easier against Pitt and then the BIG Ten.

Hord was definitely a revelation to me- when she was hitting it seemed like Stanford might as well have stayed on the bench, they just weren't in the play at all. I seem to be unique in being very impressed with Jonnie (sp?) Parker as an OH- I guess her percentage didn't end up great, but when I'm watching she always seems to do a lot of great things for her team.

I mean yes you’re right Nobody is gonna argue that Pitt has a more potent offense than Stanford but let’s not act like Pitt Isn’t a dangerous offensive team. They are very balanced but also have players who can take over a game. Their setting a bit suspect though so that could be their downfall

A lot of players and coaches use any tactic available to gain a advantage. Cook is notorious with that. If it’s not illegal and your smart enough to figure it out and it helps your team, kudos to you. Look at all the acting and tactics use to stall and draw penalties and such in professional sports. Don’t blame the players for being smart enough to capitalize on it. Blame the refs for allowing it as well as league White isn’t smart. She’s obnoxiously rude & classless. . . . I am going to guess that you have never met Kendall White, and have only witnessed a handful, if any, of her matches in person and only a few on TV. I have met Kendall White numerous times, and have witnessed many of her PSU matches in person, and most of the others on TV. And no, I am not related to Kendall White. First of all, Kendall White is smart -- very smart. She is smart, and funny, and very empathetic. I would say she is probably the most popular Penn State player with the Rec Hall fans -- though all of the starters receive big cheers when they are introduced. Including from the student section and the students who mop up wetness on the court. For what it's worth, Rec Hall has a new floor this season, and apparently it's harder to see perspiration. This myth that Kendall tries to delay the game by calling for wetness to be wiped up is just that -- a myth. Again, I've seen almost all of her matches and she calls for the crew to wipe the floor whenever she thinks it is necessary -- regardless of the situation. Finally, I do question what happened to you to send you into such a dark and ugly place, venting your hate and anger on a young woman who has done nothing to you. Really, shanem2005, if the words "obnoxious," "rude" and "classless" apply to anyone in this thread, they apply to you. Badly done, shanem2005, badly done.

Take off the Penn State shades next time you want someone to validate your bias opinion. I don't need you to tell me what kind of person the kid is because I saw it first hand this weekend. Since you say you've seen so many of her matches, for you to claim she doesn't wipe the floor to delay games, stall a team on a roll, etc. is laughable at best.

Just beacuse someone is a fan of of program it doesn’t automatically mean they can’t look at things objectively. It’s a convienent excuse for someone’s opinion that differs from your own. You make many assumption which u know as they say usually makes a ass out of a person. Let it go. Move on to another topic. And judging a person seeing her in person once gives your opinion no validation.

Salima recruited Kendall White and affectionately calls her crazy—as does Russ Rose. They mean it in a good way that helps to bring energy to the team. But you believe whatever you need so you can continue to attack this young girl! Shameful! Try using this thread to talk about actual volleyball.

I will drop the pitch-fork when you decide to quit bullying young women. This website is supposed to be about volleyball, but many of you believe that you should make it personal about the players—Easy to do when you hide behind a fake name. It’s disgusting—hence the pitch-fork.
